We have proven that we are willing to take casualties. So much for Osama's "Black Hawk Down" wishes.

Mind you, for strictly political reasons the MSM and Democrats would like nothing better than to hand him exactly that.

I believe that is no longer possible, as there are too many "FReepers" (as defined by the DUmmies) perfectly willing to sacrifice family relationships, become overtly belligerent, and summarily punish anyone or anything viewed as undermining our war efforts.

That was what I assumed, but stranger things have come out of the Arab media than publicizing an old account of a Fatwah etc.

Chorus:

"Cause I'm a man
Man on the run
Livin' fast, runnin' hard
Always under the gun
Yes I'm a man on the run".

Keep on runnin, Bin Laden..

It was great having 4 hours to watch Sunday and Monday; a one hour show is going to go by too fast next Monday.

The RATS would try to make a truce, a kind of detente. After all, according to the surrender monkeys, violence begets violence.

First he threatens a new attack then offers a truce. Sounds like a mixture of anger and frustration.

Rats now have a real problem: after all, haven't they been telling us that the war in Iraq has nothing to do with the war on terror? That there's no connection to 9/11?

Well, if there's no connection, how could UBL be offering a truce in Iraq?

Hey, UBL, you really goofed on this one, alienating your best friends in the U.S.

The voice on the tape said heightened security measures in the United States are not the reason there have been no attacks there since the Sept. 11, 2001, suicide hijackings. (a perfect democrat talking point.....just watch!)

You know John Kerry with a fake beard and toilet paper draped around his head would be a dead ringer for Osama...Anybody ever see the two in a room at the same time????

Go ahead and laugh, but this is pure genius on the part of bin laden.

I disagree.

Calling for a US pullout in Iraq and Afghanistan while stating an intention to attack US soil supports an argument that the Bush Administration has been stating for some time. As long as the battlefield is the Middle East, we have the advantage. Bin laden's offer doesn't promote peace, rather proposes to move the battlefield to the US.

Besides, only the farthest of the far left would publicly want to partner into a truce with Osama Bin Laden.

"Based on what I have said, it is better not to fight the Muslims on their land,"

Right we should just sit here and wait for the attacks on our shore. Islam and the stupid gene go hand in hand.

Right now the US is divided anyway. This gives fuel to the idiots on the left who want to "talk it out". It applies pressure to go to a bargining table. Lots of people in America who are middle of the road will start leaning left in an attempt to end the war.

I agree; we should start a pool to see who the first person to suggest we "talk" is.

It's been over 4 years since their last attack. For Petes sake, I can get a Bachelor of Science degree in that amount of time. OBL is all talk and no action...much like the Democrats.

I don't honestly think the boy has a thing to offer, frankly. It turns out to be pretty easy to fight Moslems on their own land, especially when they're thoroughly sick of police states run by theocrats. The hard part is going to be to keep them from hanging the lot of the turbaned sumbitches when the 4th ID leaves town. That we may not be up to.

He's threatening attacks he has been unable to effect for four years using dwindling resources, ineffective and brutal terror, a command structure riddled by attrition, and a spotless record of defeat every time his people have been stupid enough to attempt a straight confrontation. That simply isn't a winning military campaign even by guerilla standards.

I hope he's alive, personally, and lives to see Iran under a non-Islamic government, and realizes that none of this would have happened had he not cleverly flown airliners into a pair of buildings. I hope he dies knowing his entire murderous, bigoted, vicious life has been an utter waste and that he has set back his religion a thousand years. Then we can talk truce.

WEAKNESS IN SPADES!

First it was "We will not stop till the Great Satan is destroyed", and now it's "Please leave us alone and we'll make a truce with you".

HOW PATHETIC!

In the muslim religion, there are no binding contracts with non muslims.

Lying to the Infidel is a mitzva!

In the Treaty of Hudaibia, Mohammad entered into an "unjust" (from the Muzzie POV) agreement under false pretenses, with the full intention of re-building his forces for a subsequent attack. This action is regarded by Muslims as altogether admirable and holy, because it resulted in an eventual victory for their side.

Any "truce" offered by the Islamakazis at this time must be viewed in this context.
