A Dean in the Headlights (Howlin' Mad Dean at a loss)
The Nav Log ^ | 1/19/06 | ltn72

Posted on 01/19/2006 9:51:21 AM PST by pabianice

While Washington studies the tape allegedly released today by Osama bin Laden, the Democrats are scrambling to downplay the success this event heralds. In the tape, bin Laden warns the US of further terror attacks unless we declare a truce, in which case, he and his lunatic followers will forego further attacks against the US.

Howard Dean was just interviewed on Fox News. Looking like a man who has just been caught wearing his daughter’s underwear, Dean gave a dazzling display of Angry Left incoherence and bluster. Asked by the reporter if this tape and its offer of a “truce” did not mean that we have al Qaeda on the run, Dean, wild-eyed with dismay, proclaimed that it showed the war in Iraq was a failure. Dean did briefly admit that this event suggested we are winning in Afghanistan, but then returned to his Mad Left talking point that the war in Iraq is a failure and that the evil Bush Administration has to answer for its failure. Asked about the significance of bin Laden’s message, Dean acknowledged that the recent attacks in Pakistan that killed four top al Qaeda leaders were probably useful.

This is, of course, an enormous victory for the US and its allies against lunatic Islam and its bloody adherents. They are asking for a truce because we are winning the war against them. But you wouldn’t know it to hear the Mad Doctor from Vermont.

Postscript: The Dinosaur Media is now brow-beating Scott McClellan about why the Bush Administration has not yet caught bin Laden. Not a word about bin Laden trying to get a truce. The DM is truly a wholly owned subsiriary of the DNC.

Look, your famous! (Though having Dean and my name in the same title would make me cringe... LOL)

I thought the title meant Howlin was mad that Dean was at a loss, which doesn't make sense.

Oh, but Nora O'Donnell on MSNBC gave Dean much more latitude. Guess he's making the rounds.

I saw Dean running his mouth on FNC earlier today - he actually can make Nagin look smart.

The moose-limbs simply need time to reorganize. That's what a "truce" means in islamaspeak.

Does this mean Osama's tired of being "on the plantation"?

This development is as big as it gets! It puts the evil donkey in a termendously tight bind. If they say nothing ( which is impossible) they will be seen to agree that bin laden is weak and asking for a "truce" out of that weakness. Then why do we need the rats? If they speak up ( bet on it) they will HAVE to say they think we should look into this "truce" and this will drive away even more of the dopes that still support them. This also reminds that, while as the bleeding heart left loves to say,"we don't understand the terrorists" they sure as shiite don't understand us. This scumbag bin laden has just kicked the rats in the gonads and he probably thinks he hurt Bush. Some much for how smart these swine are!

We should trust an Islamist "truce" as much as we trust a "Muslim boycott". Not at all.

The only thing Dean knows about the definition of the word "failure" is that which is connected to his bid for the Dems nomination for prez and he's still in the dark about most of the reasons for it.

Why would it put the Dems in a bind? Binny is just saying the exact same things Kerry, Dean and the rest of the left have been saying for two years.

"time to reorganize"

Very good analogy! In fact this is the very same method Hamas has used against Israel. Hamas will call for a truce - Israel will comply - and within 30 days or so Hamas begins their attacks again.

Of course we can expect the left to fall for the "truce" line because they are COWARDS!!

Howard Dean, the man who proclaimed that Osama is innocent until proven guilty and that he should be given his day in court and until then, we shouldn't pass judgement against him. But Tom Delay, before he was even charged with a crime, was "guilty" and "should return to Texas to serve his jail term."

Over and over, Dean has shown whose side he is on, and it isn't America's.

Thats why they are in a bind. Clearly they can not remain silent on this matter. And when they do speak, they obviously can not take Bush's side, so it leaves them with one option. Telling the truth, they are on Bin Laden's side.
