LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) - Logo -- the channel that targets lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender viewers -- is looking for gay life in small-town America.
The MTV Networks outlet has ordered six episodes of a series tentatively titled "U.S. of ANT," in which comedian Ant travels across the United States investigating how members of the gay community are getting along. The show is set to premiere in the summer.
As to how the towns will be chosen, Ant said he's "going to throw a dart at a map of America and wherever it lands, I'm going to seek out the gays in that town. I hope my bad aim and lazy eye don't keep me out of the South."
Ant is the host of the VH1 reality series "Celebrity Fit Club" and a talent judge on WB Network's "Steve Harvey's Big Time." The actor-comedian also spent four seasons on WB Network's "Unhappily Ever After" and appeared on all three seasons of NBC's "Last Comic Standing."

How difficult can that be? Stop 1: the hair salon. Stop 2: Starbucks. Stop 3 . . . .
Wonder how many HIV wards and hospices they'll show, with skeletal gays showing the really, really fun side of homosexuality?
... come to my town heh heh heh ( evil laugh )....
Does Logo have a station logo?
-a Chiquita banana?
-two golf balls?
-two pegs, no holes?
"...nvestigating how members of the gay community are getting along."
Getting a long what?
3. The local interstate rest areas......
I'd better stop before people start asking questions.
Ant is the most no talent hack gay comedian I have ever seen. He got on LCS by pleasuring Katz.
Well, at least on LOGO, he is only seen by those who buy digital cable. In DC, Commie-cast put LOGO two channels away from the Western Channel. I think that was on purpose.
Of course, now that I've done it, I'm probably in some democrat database...
How did they pass on "U.S. of gAy"?
Whats all this then? You mean Bravo's not enough?
Your Starbucks comment reminded me of a story my father recently told me.
He has a high school friend that lives in another state. They graduated HS in 1962 or so.
Whenever his friend comes to town they get together for a beer to catch up on things. This last time he came to town, their schedules were such that they only had two hours to chat.
My father suggested meeting at a local Borders coffee shop. They met in the parking lot and as they walked in my father commented that they were probably the first two straight guys in history taht met up in a parking log and went into a coffee shop !
Hehehehe, nothing like suggestive marketing. ;)
A chocolate donut?
I password protected it from my wife.
Why do women love watching gay men?
I suggest they visit the new IKEA store in Atlanta.
"Why do women love watching gay men?"
Why do men love watching lesbian women? [grin]
