Casa Piedra is pretty neat. The river road between Presidio and Terlingua has some really nice places to stop and look around including one sheer drop cliff right on the shoulder of the road ( about a 500 foot drop ).

Good luck whatever you choose. The feds pay better over the long haul, but APD is in civilization if you can stand Austin. I personally would go BP or customs, but that is me.

Who is your uncle I may know him?

Well, my uncle is Dan Woods. He was a state trooper near Barstow which is close to Pecos. After returning from Iraq (in December) and upon retirement he was admitted into the Texas Rangers.

Yup, I'm not much of fan of the Liberal capital of Texas but we'll see how things end up going. My heart is with the BP but I can handle Austin too.

I met him once in passing and just remember his name.
Good luck whichever you choose to do.
