Yep. While the girl shouldn't have been alone behind the wheel, it wouldn't have made much a difference. If the girl had an adult with her, or if it were an adult driving, they all would still be dead. If that vehicle weren't on the road at all, the truck would have devastated the school bus with the same result, a lot of children killed.
The police said that there were no signs of braking by the truck, then later that they found signs of light braking. It sounds like the truck driver was preoccupied, by cell phone or something, looked up and saw too late the vehicles stopped in front of him.
Such a shame and prayers for that poor family; losing those children, then the grandpa. I can't imagine.
Didn't see if anyone had added that the children's grandfather died of a heart attack last night after hearing the news. It was all the children of his only two daughters--all his grandchildren died.

This is one of the saddest stories I have ever heard. I hope if I lose my family in one day, God will take me by heart attack too, because I don't know if I could kill myself. I've been thinking about this family all day long. It leaves you with a sick feeling...
It is Thursday afternoon February second the day that little Anthony was to be adopted by the Mann Family but instead his tiny casket was surrounded by approximately 400 people at his funeral, The last of the family laid to rest. My brother in law's brother Edwin was the grandfather who died. Thank you to all of you who have been so loving and caring to post your thoughts and prayers. My brother in laws family has been overwhelmed by your outpouring that has come from all over the world....now the hard part begins
after a funeral or memorial practically every day how do the living learn to live again. Only through your prayers. Thank you again
