I think everybody misses my point. Terrorism isn't really much of a treat. All of the "action" is basically over-reaction.
Ahhhhh. Finally someone who understands. Nice to see someone else is awake. I was feeling lonely.
"Terrorism isn't really much of a treat."
I wouldn't think so.
TeeHee. Dang those pesky fingers. ;-D
The bullet? Haven't they upgraded their air force to a shared A-A missile yet? ;-)
(Really, I appreciate that we can run joint exercises with our neighbors to the north. I have heard nothing but good about Canadian military.)
I'm just glad our two countries are working together and hopefully with our new Conservative government things will be alot better between us both. Granted, the rift is our fault.
Does a diaper come with the flight suit in that?
I'm eternally grateful that my military years and the Reagan presidency coincided almost perfectly. It was a great time to be a bluejacket!
I have been down the Detroit river in my family's boat when we lived off Lake St. Claire. It was fun to see Detroit from a distance. One visit to downtown though, and you'd pray to be back on the Canadian side.
" I have heard nothing but good about Canadian military"
Me, too.
> Is that a Sovietski aircraft?
Yup.
> Pocketa, pocketa pocketa!
Close: Polikarpov, Polikarpov, Polikarpov!
Sopwith Camels? You're ignornant! We upgraded to Sopwith Snipes YEARS (2) ago!
Americans!
Too many Americans equate a weak Canadian Military with weak Canadian people. Niether are true. Canada has superb
Canadian Military men/women, severly underfunded by the dolts in Ottawa.
My Father was in the First Special Service Force and the Princess Pat's - so I know what Canada can produce when the government gives them funding and support.
Thanks for your help - from a former Canadian (Calgary) and American Veteran.
This is encouraging to know. I started another thread this morning which poses the question whether Bin Laden's message might be timed to unleash an attack (possibly of the Superbowl) by El Shukrijumah. He stole 180 lbs of nuclear waste in Hamilton, ON a few years ago, and is thought to be the "Mohammed Atta" of a nuclear 9/11. He's a nuclear scientist, pilot, and currently on the loose in Canada, hopefully not carrying a large suitcase.
Here's the thread: http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-bloggers/1565487/posts?page=101,16
Yes, that's true. I found a photo in which he unfortunately looks a lot like Iran's crazy Ahmadinejad if you take away the smile. He's the one on the left.
Sorry for the amount of whale effluva that you have to step through around here. Not all of Canada is looney, and we have our loons here too.
I disagree. I think it is a big threat. Busses full of people could be filled with explosives in the hole.
Not over reacting here. Just a thought.
"I disagree."
That wasn't my comment in quotes; I was having fun with the typo ... "treat" instead of "threat."
