Here we go again... (NY Times leaks again)

In Tuesday's Times, the paper detailed a leaked working paper from the office of the Special Inspector General for Iraq Reconstruction. The draft report was highly critical of the U.S.-led reconstruction of Iraq, deeming the effort a failure in large part. Though incomplete, illegally leaked and intended as an internal document for discussion, The Times chose to run the story.

Once again, The New York Times, not the Bush administration, has broken the law protecting our nation's security, violating U.S. Code Title 18, Part I, Chapter 37, Section 798, pertaining to the illegal release of national-security information.

Note to the DOJ:

The NYT is just gonna keep rubbing this crap in your face until you stand up and do something about it. Prosecute these traitors, would ya?

For instance, in 1998, as al-Qa'ida was preparing its 9/11 attack, the NSA was tracking electronic communications from senior al-Qa'ida operatives, including Osama bin Laden. When that information was leaked to, and by, the press, OBL disposed of his old satellite phone system and set up a whole different set of communication protocols, thus eluding any detection of his 9/11 plans.

Why isn't there more of an uproar over this stuff?

I bet they said the same thing about the reconstruction of Japan and Germany after WWII. Germany and Japan showed them, didn't they...

It's time to lock the doors and shut down forever this traitorous, P.O.S. excuse for a newspaper. This can't continue. The managers and reporters involved should be tried as traitors and sentenced.

It would be interesting to look back and see if they were as anti-American then as they are now.

Exactly.

And as certain as I am about President Bush's Administration carrying on the fight against our enemies...

...as long as the Gray Lady & her Periodical co-horts are giving away sensitive & classified information to our enemies...

...we CANNOT win the War on Terror. It's either Us, the Real Americans---or them, the Traiterous Liberals.

I made that statement not really knowing what they wrote, if anything. Would not surprise me that they were negative about our efforts.

Ann's book "Treason" has quite a bit of info on the NYTimes past. Very interesting reading.

Wasn't there an article not too long ago, that talked about the percent of ownership the arabs have taken of the media outlets in this nation?

It is ENFURIATING that advertisers get a free pass for supporting the NYT.

If Ford wants to save money, STOP ADVERTISING IN THE NYT.

They will get positive PR and I am certain more than a few sales.

The editor, publisher, and the "reporters" should all be thrown in the klink, however the larger problem is the person who is continually leaking these things to the media. Who is this person or persons? Why haven't we caught them? But then again, Sandy Pants wasn't given a one way ticket and the borders are more open than they ever have been. Might as well hand it all over to OBL and be done with it.
