CARACAS, Venezuela - Cindy Sheehan, the peace activist who set up camp near President Bush's Texas ranch last summer, said Saturday she is considering running against Sen. Dianne Feinstein (news, bio, voting record) to protest what she called the California lawmaker's support for the war in Iraq. ADVERTISEMENT
"She voted for the war. She continues to vote for the funding. She won't call for an immediate withdrawal of the troops," Sheehan told The Associated Press in an interview while attending the World Social Forum in Venezuela along with thousands of other anti-war and anti-globalization activists.
"I think our senator needs to be held accountable for her support of George Bush and his war policies," said Sheehan, whose 24-year-old soldier son Casey was killed in Iraq in 2004.

We already have that with Boxer and DiFi, IMO. Cindy would just dumb them down further.
Tom McClintock, perhaps??
You have to wonder if Jesse (The Extortionist) is saying "lower and slower"???
Diane has a gun.""
Seven, sccording to CCW records in SF.
Since no Republican has the guts to run against Feinswine in "Republican" run California, why does it matter?
That is a shame.
lol, she wants that new mansion Feinstein just bought...
and the limo rides.
it is all about the $$$'s
cause she needs to move to NY.
Now wait a minute. Didn't Sheehan threaten to run against Feinstein if she didn't support the filibuster? This is a "new" development. Sheehan must really want to run. I say - go for it! Let the Dems waste a WHOLE buncha money in the California primary duking it out.
Exactly. Cindy will actually have to declare any "gifts" made to her for travel, etc. on her income tax. Plus, with a Senatorial campaign, she'll have to actually declare where all those campaign contributions are coming from.
Correct that? Who is paying for this woman to tour around the WORLD, stay at hotels and eat at restaurants all the time?
Cindy is rapidly becoming the Lyndon LaRouche of the 21st Century.
Which is exactly what Hillary did.
what are you nuts if Cindy wins the Dem primary the Republican would more than likely win
though best bet is she runs as a Green or something drain off votes in a general election
