I switched it on just in time to hear a caller asking them (paraphrasing):
"I am sorry about what happened, but why does a reporter get 100 times the media coverage of his injuries when we have our brave troops being wounded almost every day, and the media does not go off like this?"

"I am sorry about what happened, but why does a reporter get 100 times the media coverage of his injuries when we have our brave troops being wounded almost every day, and the media does not go off like this?" Bingo!
When I saw there was breaking news on ABC on Sunday I thought something big had happened. Then to find out Bob Woodruff and his cameraman were injured I was a bit incredulous.
Soldiers get wounded and killed, and its not treated as breaking news. This just continues to show the double standard that the media is bogged down in.
