PEE-YEW!!! I can smell her feet!
what a loonie ... when I channel surf and accidently stop at CNN, whenever I see this windbag I quickly wakeup and resume channel surfing!!
I think that Amanpour did some reports a few years back on the Kurdish children killed and crippled by Saddam's poison gas attacks. She seems to have a short memory.
You know, I just hate to hear this woman's voice. I find it terribly annoying. She is also very, very difficult to watch. Ugh.
So I reckon Christiane thinks we should release Saddam, cut and run and leave Iraq truly in ruins, politically, at least, to say nothing of the military situation in the country.
Is that what we are supposed to do? I think not.
Porked up a bit the last few years.
I watched her reports in Panama while lying on the floor trying to keep the tracers from finding me and my family on Albrook Air Force Station. Not my favorite reporter.
She had a baby in 2000, but apparently leaves him behind in London with hubby Jamie Rubin, former spokesman for the US State Department during the Clinton Administration, while she jet-sets around the world's war zones.
I'm sure she shaves everyday, everywhere!
"she lamented how "journalists have paid for it, paid for the privilege of witnessing and reporting that."
Now she laments. They scream for access, brag about how brave they are for covering the war, then squeal like pigs when someone gets hurt. Meanwhile, they provide slanted coverage to boot.
I wish Ms. A would get more "privileges" to witness and report on the war. To add to the realism, I think she should grow a mustache and report the story as an Iraqi recruit at one of those often-bombed police recruiting places. Not sure if the mustache will be necessary to complete the disguise.
Is anyone forcing those journalists at gunpoint to be out there? They want to be there to get 'face time' so they can come home and be closer in line for one of those coveted 'news reader' jobs.
I'd like to see some comparison of how many journalists were killed and injured in Europe in WWII compared to Iraq for the last three years..
Doncha just love Larry King of CNN interviewing Amanpour of CNN for his show on CNN? And they think the President lives in a bubble!
Way Too Much Information.
Just sayin" Ya know,,,,,,,,
They can always cover the Flower Show.
When was the last time a TV newsperson with some chops was ever good looking?
