Bang & Olufsen makes a range of boutique audio and video equipment. Except for being non-US based, they're preferable to Bose.
It is seemingly a "new" thing. Same as not depicting any living creature is also forbidden. There are many examples of Renaisance era Muslim glass & mosaic depictions & sculptures of birds, animals, and even people just in the Corning Museum of Glass.
Also, check this:
Mohammed at Medina, from an Arab or central Asian medieval-era manuscript.
Here is an interesting archive of Mohammad images throughout history.
Or, for something modern, try this:
Steve D., the proprietor of this blog , fashioned his own statement about the controversy by Photoshopping one of the Jyllands-Posten drawings onto the rear end of a camel.
Quick everybody, run out and see Hamlet!
And follow it up with a Carlsberg.
Where is the outcry of support for Denmark from the artists in the US? Where is the outrage of the creative class?
"Havarti is available everyplace."
I was just emphasizing that what my friend got was imported from
Denmark...and still readily available here in flyover country.
I've seen Haribo candies at the local stores-- licorice and gummi candy.
Dill havarti. YUM!
Gummis are good. Thanks for the reminder.
Which American newspaper has dared to print these cartoons?
Shut up!!!
Thanks for those & the link!
"Mohammmad: may camel lice infest his armpits."
"Islam must be the most fragile religion."
Not sure if this is the right place to say it, but I got upset today. My wife got off work, went over to a place next-door for a drink and a sandwich. She's friendly with the bartender, whom I know too, so she likes to sit at the bar. Anyway this muslim dude sits down and lit up a smoke next to her. The bartender asked him, "Hey, there's seats over here, the bar's empty why not at least ask if its ok to smoke" or something. My wife and I personally don't have anything against people smoking in bars, that's not the point. The point is, the guy goes, "She's a woman, she doesn't matter". I kid you not. Please do a search on "mudblood" and "muslim" and you'll know I'm the type that thinks there are good muslims, islam is just a religion, etc. etc., so when I say it happened you can be sure I'm not just being "enthusiastic".
I WISH I had been there. I'd have told him that mohommed has sex with pigs and asked him if he has a problem with that.
See also the new Support Denmark page (hat tip: Paul Belien of the indispensable Brussels Journal).
As I noted yesterday, Judith Apter Klinghoffer is spearheading the Buy Danish campaign.
A few establishments to support:
The Danish Food shop
Danish Deli Food
LEGO
More stuff made in Denmark.
Here's the latest on the Muslim jihad against Denmark:

Well to me Denmarks most notable exports are bacon and Carlsberg lager. Feast on that and Muslims will be extra-pleased.
Oh, and theres Lego but Im struggling to see how that would annoy them, although Im sure they could find a way.
Don't forget about Lurpak Danish butter made by Arla , the dairy company that's taking the beating on this . Found on the top shelf of the dairy section at your local grocer. It's some of the best tasting butter out there.
except that they didn't qualify this time...
You are right! I've heard the same thing from others online. We should (as a group) buy all things Danish if we can, similiar to when a lot of us boycotted French products.
I know we can buy Danish cheese online. There used to be some Danish importers with websites, I know because I bought a few things in the past. Their main exports are cheeses and ham products (might be another reason the islamofazzies hate them).
DAK is a brand of Danish Crown, a Danish company, although I believe that most of its meat products sold in the U.S. are made here:
And they sell Tuborg as well. And Aquavit if you can handle it.
