"Woof" is used in broadcasting to say "stop," "that's enough" or to mark a specific point in time
-- which is what is done in this case. "Tony's show starts in 3 minutes: WOOF!" Means in 3 minutes from-- NOW!
LOL.
I can't sing either, but I also couldn't come up with lyrics so I admire your wit.
Her IQ might be even below Patty Murray and that's digging in the well...
A low C Tony?.....you've been in the beltway too long....come out to the heartland....we gave it an A...
I thought this was an EXCELLENT speech, in that more than the traditional laundry list of prposed programs, he wove the future nad security of the country into the whole thing.
And I am NOT changing my opinion. I am a LISTENER, not a speechwriter. To listeners out here in Indiana, it was a great speech. I got two calls this morning from people who loved it.
I heard on the radio coming home last night that there were about 100 protestors outside of Fisher Plaza (home of several radio and TV stations in Seattle, including Fox News and Talk Radio KVI). Bryan Suits (who is 1 of their talk show hosts and also served in Iraq last year w his Reserve Unit) was cracking me up! He said there were as many or more police than protestors and that the protestors were banging on pots and pans w spoons so that no one could hear the President's speech. Excuse me, maybe they should understand that we're in the 'other' Washington and their noise is probably not going to block out the President's speech. KVI sent an invitation a week ago for them to come into the studio last night and discuss it, but they never got a response, yet the protestors blocked their place of business. I guess it was quite the 'good looking' group. One of the police said it looked like hemp city, or something to that effect.
I've checked out the KOMO TV site, Seattle Times site, and Seattle PI site and can't find anything on it, which leads me to believe it was a very low turnout. Had there been 1000s, they may have received coverage. Rather telling IMHO when the liberal media in liberal Seattle doesn't even cover a protest.
Speaking of greenies, I wish someone would do a story on what the heads of the major environmental groups drive. Bet it ain't compacts.
Yes he IS!!
On the energy policy I did agree with you. I was mildly queasy about the wood-chips and ethanol. Scientifically those require more energy than they use. Doesn't seem like a way to balance the energy shortfall.
BUT...I think he's going to quietly get ANWR. And he DID mention nuclear, which, I think, is the real answer. With fusion power.
BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAA!
Just a techy note.
I am pulling your stream at 70 - 90 Kbps.
That might be a bit high.
Good morning Doug...great lyrics! Hope to be hearing them sung before long!
You're right! That really 'helped' us a lot, didn't it - -8 years of madness, mayhem, deceit, and shame to the country courtesy of the co-Presidents, Bill & Hill.
".........When I heard about Dan Clay. And when I saw the Air Force Sargent reunited with her dog.
I think I'm becoming a woman."
Are you sure your segment is long enough for motor-mouth Joe? I don't think he can say "hello" in 2 minutes...
I will hang around for Joe because I am curious to see if he puts on his "regular guy" pose. You know, using cheesy slang and ating like he's "one of the guys."
Hi! checking in VERY late! Did saveliberty break the feed again??? Did I miss anything really good to check out before I go back to try to catch up??
On another thread, I read that they are building a nuclear plant near Andrews, TX. That is not far (in TX terms) from the ranch.
Oh yes, he's pleasant, long, windy and is OK unless you're a witness in front of his committee. But, he'll knife you in the back if you get in his way...
