Texas Sheriff says Mexican army has threatened his deputies and their families
KVIA TV 7 El Paso (ABC) ^ | 020106 | CAWats

In the past few days, Hudspeth County Sheriff's Department deputies and their families have received threats to stay off the Rio Grande. Sheriff Arvin West told ABC-7 Thursday morning, before departing for Houston that the Mexican military is behind all of this.

Sheriff West said, "There is no doubt in my mind -- from the first time going back to a couple of years ago and every time in between --- it's the Mexican military. In a nutshell, everybody's been trying to tell everybody that they were here...they've been here ...[and] they come here quite often, regularly."

It would be nice to put Mexico back in its place and it would be even easier than taking out Iraq. Occupying it, however, would be even worse than Iraq, so I would vote for laying the entire country waste (even more than it is now), grabbing the parts that have oil, and telling the rest of 'em to just die.

Even better: relocate the survivors- and those illegal invaders found in this country, to become the new neighbors of Israel in the border territories of what was once called Palestine, and any of the remaining neighboring former countries where radiation levels allow the maintenance of human life.

A short but intense war resulting in the loss of some ten to fifteen million muslum Arabs would leave a considerable population vacuum in that region, of course, but I'm sure that the economic refugees of Mexico could fill it and, with a little Israeli and U.S. seed monies and technical assistance, would make their new desert home bloom.

Pancho Villa was not representative of the Mexican government being that he was rebelling against it. But when he crossed the border with his armed bands and attacked ranchers we sent the army south across the river after him. These cartel folks are just this century's Pancho Villa and need to be treated in that mode.

I knew a lady like that in Phoenx, she defended the illegals and even hired them to do cleaning and what not. She lived in a really nice older neighborhood. The bad neighborhood creeped up on her over a 15 year period and she changed her tune. All of the sudden she was complaining about drug deals across the street, breakins, the stores getting ruined and wondering why no one had solved the illegal problems. Some people just don't see a problem unless it is in their face.

So is it your contention that these problems are caused only by illegals?

Seems to me these problems are caused first and foremost by criminals. The nationality/immigration status of the criminals is secondary.

You know what, most Mexican homes I been in Proudly display things American like the US Flag/ Texas Flag

Obviously, that's Texas. Ever seen it in California? Didn't think so. They have nothing but Mexican flags, Mexican polka, don't speak English and beat their children to death after keeping them in ice cold garages. No THANKS!

I was only referring to one area I was familiar with, and yes in that area it was Illegals that caused the problems. The whole point I was making is she defended, and enabled the illegals, ignoring the related problems until they personally caused her problems. That is common for many people, I have lived on the border for years and have seen the problem worsen to the point of chaos. If I lived somewhere else I might be in denial too.

I would like to point out that illegally entering the country is a crime, so illegal aliens are criminals whether or not they commit other crimes in this country while they are here.

Neighborhood deterioration in general is not exclusive to illegals, of course I know that. Each problem area has their own issues that cause it. I think poverty and drugs feed crime, and those areas where poor of any race are crammed together will have the same effect. Criminal elements take over poor neighborhoods without regard to race. Being poor is not the real cause, but criminals exploit the poor because it's easier.

The reason this issue even comes up in these discussions is we as a country have not figured out how to deal with the problems of our own citizens in poverty, or criminals, or drug addicts (of any race). We have yet to find a solution that really works to eliminate overcrowded, crime infested areas of our cities. Now due to mass illegal entry we are being forced to deal with another country's problems. We should not have to bear the burden of poverty, and crime, and drug addiction in Mexico. Mexico has chosen to deal with the problem by exporting it here, so it greatly adds to problems we already had. This causes a great amount of resentment in our country when it is realized.

I never made the contention that all these problems are caused by illegals. Anyone who thinks the sheer numbers of illegals have not added to the problems exponentially is in denial.

I expect my tax dollars to be spent trying to solve the issues of poverty, crime, and drug addiction in this country no matter what race the person is. Can you explain to me why my tax dollars should be spent to solve those problems for people who are here illegally? Explain to me why Mexico is not responsible for their own citizen's problems and we are?

The Mexican Military has invaded the U.S. and we do nothing? I would think at the highest levels, ie Bush, we should be taking this seriously. And a photo op between Fox and Bush won't cut it for me.

Ya'll (and others) seem to grasp the nature of the sutuation in that "the coming war" with mexico is already on. What I don't understand is why everyone is so shy about showing up for the Border Watch Operations. We have absolute support from BP and SD everywhere we go as well as the land owners. According to polls we should have thousands showing for the projects. Yet the numbers are kinda thin. Paper tigers?

We would probably end up annexing Mexico, well, their southern border might be a bit easier to patrol.lol

We thought about annexing Mexico in the 1800's when the place still had some potential. At this point, I think Mexico would be more of a liability than an asset. We need to do many things to bring about greater border security, but we should not rule out the use of military force.

"Americans are being THREATENED on American Soil..."

And what is the response of the government that is supposed to protect its citizens, one of its most sacred obligations?

Lets do nothing some more.

I dont think the BP and SD would cotton to my physics experiments with my HK91. That and getting a kitchen pass from the wife. Do the Minutemen have free fire zones and selected areas of fire? /sarcasm
Great time of year to do it though.
I have freely contributed to Randy Graf to replace Kolbe.

"Unlike many here I do not have a hatred towards the Mexican people."

Name just a few of the "many".

"I can not blame a man for wanting to better himself and care for his family."

The same tired old refrain we've been hearing on these threads from the OBL/cheap labor lobby quislings for years. Nobody's buying it.

Actually, as the one choosing to use the race card you need to prove up your careless charges. In other words, put up or shut up.

Your posts helped turn it into one. Don't whine now when someone calls you out on it.

Put up or shut up.

We'll be waiting for your list of the "many" posters who hate Mexicans.

Lets have it.
