ENFIELD - A woman accused of using racial epithets while waiting for food at a Taco Bell drive-through window was arrested Wednesday.
Jennifer Farrelly, 19, of East Windsor, has been charged with ridicule on account of race, creed or color and second-degree breach of peace. Farrelly's boyfriend, Eric Satterlee, 22, of Ashford, was charged with breach of peace in the incident.
On Dec. 18, Farrelly and Satterlee became frustrated by the slow service at the Taco Bell restaurant on Brookside Place, according to an arrest warrant. Farrelly banged on the drive-through window and called the Taco Bell attendant, Jamelle Byrd, a racial epithet, according to the warrant. Satterlee allegedly cursed and banged on the window.
Farrelly denied using racial epithets when she was interviewed by police, saying Byrd caused the dispute by ridiculing her for parking her car far away from the drive-through window, the warrant states. Byrd's supervisor told police that Byrd should not have been working the drive-through because he had gotten into a similar incident with another customer, the warrant states.
Police Chief Carl J. Sferrazza said Byrd was not arrested in the incident.

A relative that manages a restaurant in a changing neighborhood many times tells me horror stories of trying to manage a business where the customers, (a protected class of minorities who just happen to have a month out of every year dedicated to that protected class), are ruining the business, which will utlimately result in the businees having to close, just as other nearby businesses have been forced to do.
Food servers are refusing to apply for jobs at the restaurant due to the ill-mannered, thoughtless so-called customers that harrass the servers verbally and sometimes physically. These so-called customers refuse to tip, so the management is forced to apply a small surcharge on groups of more thant eight persons. However, that has caused near riots in the restaurant by these same "customers."
What a shame, but this is happening all over our country today.
Can you say, "probable cause"?
I remember the Reginald Denny case in LA during the Rodney King riots in 1992--his attackers just made up the charge that he had used a racial epithet before they attacked him. And the case of the guy in Todd County, Kentucky, who was shot to death for having a Confederate flag on his pickup, back about 1994--also accused of using the "N-word" without any cause to believe that the accusation was true. (The New Yorker ran an article essentially justifying the killing, by the author who published Confederates in the Attic.)
I sure hope the charges aren't ratcheted up to "felony causing of hurt feelings".
This would appear to be the case; I haven't read any transcripts from prosecutions to say for sure... but the way the law is worded I don't see how else it could be established.
"You racial epithet!! Where's my order?"
As in, "Hey, you racial epithet!!!!".

I would have never believed it, but it seems plausable now. I don't know if it would be 5, or 4 or what, but it could happen. The leftists are so sure they're smarter than everyone else, that they feel no need to acknowledge facts or truth.
When I look at the hand-out menality of some of my employees I cringe and want to pull them aside and say - hey learn a trade or how to make and do things on your own. Don't wait for the EIC payments, tax refunds, the lottery etc. Find a way to survive without big brother.
Even the mailman is in the mental mindtrap of dependency. When Katrin hit they all were sure that Bush blew the levees on purpose. All they did was whine and complain.
I can see how the inner city culture will implode.

I'm with Dave Chappelle. The white media should simply use the word, instead of being afraid to say it. After all, "urban youths" use it amongst eachother all the time, as does Robert Byrd and his friends.
