Our anti-victory friends from CODEPINK are at it again. They're trying to pull a fast one on us, by scheduling a protest outside Balboa Naval Hospital on SUPER BOWL SUNDAY. Unfortunately for them, they forgot to check the kickoff time. The game starts at 3pm, but this event will be over no later than 1:30pm. Plenty of time to get home and have a couple of beers before the big game.
This event will be held in honor of our good friend Mikey, who is in the hospital recovering from brain surgery. His wife and daughter will be attending in his absence.
WHO: San Diego Protest Warrior, San Diego FReepers, and anyone else who wants to come.
WHAT: A demonstration of gratitude and support for our military.
WHEN: Sunday, February -- 11:30am - 1:30pm
WHERE: Corner of Park Blvd. & Presidents Way, Balboa Park (plenty of parking available)
HOW: With flags and signs expressing our appreciation and gratitude for our military and their families.
WHY: Because they want us to fail, and we are committed to victory.
THIS IS IMPORTANT -- BRING AS MANY PEOPLE AS POSSIBLE!
Pin-a-ling to a little tailgate party of our own! Help us send Code Pink away for good!

Below is the latest full report from the DC FReeps of Code Pink at Walter Reed Army Hospital from the FReep of a week ago. Earlier Friday evening, we had over 40 FReepers compared to about 15 Pinkos, who were limited to a remote location. (Pinkos forgot to renew their permit and concretebob got a permit for their usual locations.)
The report for the most recent FReep will be posted in a few days.

On Jan 27, we held all four corners of the main gate at Walter Reed for the second week in a row. Per last week's thread and report, the Pinkos have been relegated to an area about a block away such that the wounded and their relatives do NOT have to pass close by them to enter or leave Walter Reed Army Medical Center. We had a great turnout of FReepers from the DC Chapter and beyond including numerous Protest Warriors and other patriots. Although the night was cool, it was still warmer than usual for a January night.
This was FReep #41 as FReepers have countered the anti-troop hate group Code Pink at their weekly obscene anti-war blood dance outside Walter Reed Army Medical Center for 10 months now. We were honored again to have been joined by the proud father and mother of a Marine, who is currently serving in Iraq. Now that the Pinkos are completely gone from the gate, we had many more than the usual number of wounded troops join us or stop by to thank us for being there.
