Another good movie from Michelle Malkin:

I couldn't sleep at all last night, so I toyed around with Windows Movie Maker and put together a little, 2-minute photo/video montage about the Muhammad cartoons.

It's called "First, They Came"--and I hope it will speak to many around the world in a universal way.

Download and watch the movie. (Windows Media .wmv file)

When dealing with a rabid pit bull, you keep saying nice doggie until you are able to kill it.

I hope you're right, Grampa Dave. After finishing the book Infiltration, I'm not so sure there aren't some people in the administration and Congress who don't want to make nice with the Muslims.

A woman shouts as demonstrators set the Danish embassy ablaze in Damascus February 4, 2006. Several thousand Syrian demonstrators set the Danish embassy on fire on Saturday to protest the printing by a Danish newspaper of cartoons of the Prophet Mohammad. (Khaled al-Hariri/Reuters)

Wait just a second . . . this could be a quadrapole embassy burning.

From: http://www.hindustantimes.com/news/181_1617236,00050004.htm

Police fired tear gas and water cannons to disperse demonstrators who had move on to the Norwegian Embassy after setting fire to the Danish Embassy.

With precision guided munitions, why not?

No where to carry them. You see any hard points or pylons under those wings? They had to add the fuselage mount for an air to air missile. (Although in the picture I think that blue thing is actually an ACM pod, used to track the aircraft, and allow for scoring of simulated "kills" during training missions)

Excellent point about the cross. Sometimes God works in strange, but meaningful, ways.

Infuriated over here too... spitting nails, really. Christians and Jews have been abused mercilessly without fear of recrimination FOREVER. And now this insistence on 'respect' for the ROP. Who is doing what about these inequities and where can I go to help?

Well, those Dresden photos create a disconnect with our modern war reality. We dropped concrete bombs on Iraq to minimize collateral damage. Iran will be even worse when we have to bomb the nuclear installations. Hmmmm.

A woman shouts?

How in the H3ll do they know what's under that costume? That could be anything, but I'd put my money on "Brave muslim fighter" to be safe.

"There is a silver lining hear. Denmark can close all its embassies to these countries and save some money. Maybe it'll slow down immigration too."

The Danes probably set the fire themselves... "slow down immigration".

I think maybe we can only write letters to our editor explaining why we don't agree with the State Department's press release.

It looks to me they performed an embassy fire-bombing while standing on the steps of a church.

While it could be a church, since there are some Christians in Syria, It could also be a Mosque. If there are loudspeakers in that tower, rather than a cross atop it, it's a Mosque. However if you squint at the photo from #128, you can see what might be a cross atop the tower.

Someone with better imaging tools than I have on this computer could probably increase the image contrast and bring out the outline of whatever it is atop that tower.

Doesn't sound like izlam is a religion of peace. More like a maniacal death cult.

Well, Tanzania and Burundi are filled, how do you feel about sand and hate?"

As you can see by the photos, Damascus has lots of trees. Similar to the Cedars of nearby Lebanon.
