That would be most logical. If they were digging at the prison, someone would be bound to take notice. If the tunnel was built from the mosque to the prison, then no one could know until the tunnel was already created. Then they would just need to go to the mosque, and escape.

I say the tunnel was dug from the mosque to the prison.

I say you are correct.

My comments were not directed toward our military. Members of my own family currently serve, as well as neighbors. I know first-hand the sacrifices they are making.

We could easily continue to spread our troops even thinner over terrorists hot spots. That is not my point.

To me, putting teeth behind our words includes also cutting off any and all monetary aid to any nations involved in supporting terrorism. It means enforcing our immigration laws and toughening them, including giving our border states whatever assets are required to shut down crossovers.

I disagree entirely with the notion that our values mean very much in the areas we are involved in. There's no doubt that many of their people are happy to be free of their oppressors but their lifestyles, governments and such are unlikely to change to a fully democratic mode in our lifetimes, if ever.

Meanwhile, our borders are wide open. We continue to pander to Mexico's Vincente Fox and pursue a catch and release policy for border intrusions (which include more OTMs .. Other Than Mexicans.. each week).

I'm a strong Constitutionalist and firmly believe in our values. I do not, however, "drink the cool aid," and believe that we are doing enough to prove our resolve to do whatever is necessary to stop the threat of terrorism.

Isn't this the second time these people have broken out of prison?

Didn't some terrorists escape in Yemen a couple of years ago and they caught them?

Yes. And I believe a few weeks later the CIA his them with a Hellfire Missile launched from a Predator drone. I think it was the first time we used a Predator as an attack weapon. The pictures were awesome. There wasn't much left of the car except some seat springs and twisted metal.

This validates the US decision to keep some terrorists in Gitmo.

"The prisoners dug a 70 meter tunnel under prison cells to the mosque near shore."

I wonder who is giving lessons to whom, the Illegals or Terrorists.

Thank you for quoting the President's words from his speech to Congress in the aftermath of 9/11.

I wish we were reminder more often of his words on that day.

He was truly inspiring.

I say the tunnel was dug from the mosque to the prison.

Those mosques are really handy. Need a tunnel dug? Need a hideout? Need a sniper point? Need a weapons depot?

"I just heard that they dug a tunnel that lead all the way to a mosque."

I wonder how many mosques in America have tunnels?
