The hunt continues this morning for the gunman who shot and killed a bodyguard of hip-hop star Busta Rhymes. It happened as the rap star was shooting a music video in Brooklyn early Sunday morning.
Eyewitness News reporter Lisa Colagrossi is live in Greenpoint, Brooklyn with the story. Police say Busta Rhymes isn't talking about the violence that took place during the making of the video early Sunday morning.
Police took footage that had been shot during the video and are also looking at whether security cameras outside may have captured the murder.
The Brooklyn soundstage was crawling with rap stars -- as many as 500 people had gathered for the midnight shoot for a Busta Rhymes video. When it took a violent turn.
Police say there was chaos at the studio when a number of people were kicked out, then a hail of gunfire. Killed, was 29-year-old Israel Ramirez a bodyguard for Busta Rhymes, who was in charge of Rhymes jewelry stash for the video.

Bustah Rhymes isn't a gangsta rapper.
This was probably an act of random violence or some loser out to make a name for himself.

hip hop...rap.....all a bunch of crap.
when black music went from Motown, soul, funk and rock, to this crap.......and the pimps at MTV promoted this abhorrent lifestyle....it has had the effect of destroying the country from within. And then all the stupid white kids who think they are some kind of vanilla rappers follow right along while their parents just throw up their hands and say "well what can you do?". despicable
