LONDON - A British jury convicted radical Muslim cleric Abu Hamza al-Masri on Tuesday of fomenting racial hatred and inciting his followers to kill non-Muslims.
Al-Masri, 47, the former imam at London's Finsbury Park mosque, also was convicted of possessing a terrorist document and threatening or abusive recordings. Al-Masri, Britain's best-known Islamist orator, could receive a maximum sentence of life in prison.
The jury of seven men and five women found al-Masri guilty on seven of nine charges of soliciting murder. He also was convicted on two of four charges of stirring racial hatred.
Though asked to stand for the reading of the verdict, the firebrand preacher immediately sat down once the first guilty verdict was pronounced by the jury's foreman.

By not having the death penalty for this, the UK has just doomed us all to "Free Al-masri" chants for the rest of our lives.
This makes it even more confusing as to why the protestors holding the signs calling for beheadings and terrorism weren't arrested earlier this week.
Another false reason for the next upcoming attack in London.

He was just sentenced to 7 years.
Have already served 18 months. According to the British justice system, he can expect to serve between a half or two thirds of the sentence.,
He might very well walk out on the streets in 2 years.

This light sentence will hopefully make it more likely that he is turned over to the USA.

Actually, it would be quite effective to sprinkle some hog blood on him before executing him. Muslims would riot if you feed him to the hogs. They believe the body rises at judgement day and needs to be intact at that time. That's why they don't allow cremation.
