The only real poll was taken in Novemner of 2004. That's the one to govern by. That's exactly what Bush is doing.

Next one is slated for November 2008.

It will be interesting to see what the approval numbers do when the tapes of Saddam discussing his WMDs serve up a plate of crow to the "Bush Lied" crowd.

And this was BEFORE the Democrats made Bush look like an absolute CLASS ACT, ANGEL at the King funeral.

They were so putridly disgusting at that "political event". And they wonder why no one wants to be associated with them or vote them into office.

Is it conceivable that some of the "talking" may actually get out a couple months before the elections?

To boost....

Hard to say since they use what they call 'weighting' to adjust for known biases. If they listed their questions it would be easier to know. The random phone sample tells us nothing of the demographics. How many Dems, Repub, independents and were in the sample? It's probably about a mid 40's approval rating.

And zombie probably has it at 35%! This is excellent! Let the weak minded dumb rat believe crap like this. It only makes him more bewildered when he gets crushed every two years.

Bush's poll numbers would soar to 75% approval if he were to seal the southern border and begin enforcing immigration laws.

agreed...the only thing is the Pew poll does not have data as to the breakdown of the respondents....or at least I can't find them...

Outside of Free Republic few will hear about that. Besides those tapes are probably illegal since no one told Saddam he was being taped. And surely there was no warrant.

Remarkable how this obsession keeps popping up. Do you think about ANYTHING other than the border?

saw that but didn't look closely..

Check out the poll results from questions 55/57/58....seems even though the PResident is doing the right things and his numbers have remained steady or improved, no one wants to talk about it...

It's an albatross around the GOP's neck they seem happy to wear. The elephant in the room (no pun intended) they ignore. Political pandering and caving to special interests at its worst.

We're at war and it's a glaring vulnerability to homeland security, not to mention all the other associated issues. Why shouldn't ALL Americans be concerned?

Didn't follow the link did you? In the Pew study, 30% were Republicans, 33% were Democrats, 31% were Independents, 3% were no preference, and 3% didnt know.

Okay which is the real poll and which is the fake? At least Pew gives a breakdown by political party. Rassmussen just says the weight according to the magic sauce...with no specifics given.
