If your child is unfortunate enough to study in California, he or she will be taught ISLAM is a fountain of modernity, liberty, anf feminism. More importantly, he will be taught every aspect of the Isalmac faith is historically accurate. The 'Haughton-Mifflin' textbook, currently in use in many schools, lists one 'Shabbir Mansuri', founding Director of the Council on Islam Education, as its consultant. Mansuri is a 'businessman' with a degree in Chemical Engineering, and not an academic. That did not prevent the California State board of Education (SBE) from inviting Mansuri to a closed door meeting, apparently to advise the board on Hindu edits, on January 6, 2006.

Islam, The Alleged Religion of Peace® ( TARP )? Click this picture:

No, I am not exaggerating. Click the pic, go to "last," and read backwards.
If you are not informed about this stuff, you will be made sick. If you are informed, you will be made mad, all over again.

In reading the article, did anyone trip over the title of the dang textbook or the name of the course in which it is used?

This has been coming on for a long time, and is much more serious than the left would have us to believe.
The Muslims mean it when they say that they are going to take over the world.
This country had better pray that the Democrats NEVER get to be in charge.

The muslims might want to think along the lines of Hitler who did not want to attack Switzerland for a number of reasons. Not the least of which is the fact that all males in Switzerland are ARMED. Well this is America. and we are ARMED TO THE TEETH. Try burning cars in front of my house Moe(hammed)...and I'll murdle-ize ya.

I don not think that you understand the Muslim's. They are fearless and ready to die for their cause. Also, no dissenters allowed unlike here.
My husband was fighting Muslim's almost fifty years ago. They were trying their best to take over our bases in the Middle East way back then.
I am terrified that the enemies in our own country are helping the cause.

"When Clinton did nothing."
I would like to know when Bush plans on sending all non-citizen Islamics back to where they came from??
I continue to feel Bush was the correct choice in 2000 and 2004, but that is in comparison to who was running against him in the presidential race, and not who could have been the standard bearer of the party.
Between the Mexican and Canadian border sieve and all the Muslim's that are in the country, it would have been nice to see a President willing to take on these heady issues.
I would vote for him again against a Hillary, Algore or Kerry, but I am not a Koolaid drinker.

I'd like to see someone teach that much about Christianity. We'd hear screams and shrieks of *wall of separatio* and *separation of church and state* so fast our heads would spin.

Home schooling is the only way to go now. That or private Jewish and Christian educational institutions. Forget public school.

Just let a kid draw a picture of anything Christian and see how fast that child is put out of school.
Government schools equal child abuse.

Check this guy out -
Every child in America entering school at the age of five is insane because he comes to school with
allegiances to our founding fathers
our elected officials
his parents
belief in a supernatural being, and toward the sovereignty of this nation as a separate entity. It's up to
teachers to make these sick children wellby creating the international child of the future - Chester Pierce, Professor of Education and Psychiatry at Harvard, 1970
