and oust the looney left and RINO's
The "Politically Correct RINO's" on FR are the same group
who "swore"
klintoon, hitlery, hanoi kerry, sanbdi ber(bur)glar, al bore, jane beno,
would be prosecuted for
pardongate, chinagate, the bribes in upstate NY in the 2000 NY Senate race, waco, etc, etc,
"when" the "time was right".

Insisting withdrawal was not an option, Johnson called criticism of the war "Democratic nonsense" and compared it to the "peaceniks and people in Congress and America" who "started saying bad things about what was going on [in Vietnam].
Bump!

Then I woke up.............

"Roger that ~ U.S. Rep. Sam Johnson is real hero!"
....and John Murtha is a Tokyo Rose. Just who the hell does that SOB think he is? May he rot in hell for his irresponsible statements with OUR U.S. military men and women in harm's way.
I have known and served in harm's way with a lot of good Marines. Murtha does not even carry himself like a marine....he's in a perpetual fog, speaks hesitantly, appears to lack confidence in what he's saying, etc.

I don't understand how anyone could hear or read these words and not be horrified at what Cong. Johnson went through for all of us:
After being shot down over North Vietnam, Johnson spent nearly seven years as a prisoner of war in Hanoi, half of that in solitary confinement. "I do know what it's like to be far from home, serving your country, risking your life and hearing that America doesn't care about you," Johnson said, choking back tears. "[Hearing] your Congress doesn't care about you. Your Congress just cut off all funding for your war. They're packing up and going home and leaving you." Johnson added he was "scared to death" by such talk because years ago, he was afraid he would be left in Vietnam "forever." Each time Murtha, Kerry or any MSM person suggests we are losing the war in Iraq and we should pull out; these words of Sam Johnson should be taped, and they should be forced to listen to them -- in the presence of those they have just spoken to. This should prove to the ones listening that Murtha, Kerry and the MSM are not people to be admired when they seek to demoralize our military and capitulate to terrorists.

Murtha is the same guy who told Clinton to pull out of Somolia. Clinton listened to him.
I'm so thankful President Bush is smarter than that!

Who really is John Murtha?
Someone should check out what he did he actually do on a trip to Vietnam in March 1975. He was part of a Congressional team to determine if the US should provide support against the North Vietnamese who were in violation of the Peace Agreement of 1973.
That group came back and voted against support. The Presidents in side letters had assured South Vietnam that the US would provide help necessary. (Please see the book - "The Palace Files" which show the letters of US commitment.
Where did Murtha stand? Will he now do a replay of get the troops out and then cut off support when needed?

Amid cheers, whistles and two standing ovations, U.S. Rep. Sam Johnson (R-Texas) took fellow Congressman John Murtha (D-Pa.) and the U.S. media behind the proverbial woodshed for a verbal walloping. Now if he can just take a few wacks at Senator McStain... I believe Johnson was a POW for considerably longer than McStain, almost 7 years verses 5 1/2. Either would be horrific. But Johnson definitely has the "gravity's" to slap McCain down as is sorely needed.
---------------------
Sam Johnson returned home to Texas after serving in the U.S. Air Force for 29-years as a highly decorated pilot. He flew combat missions in both the Korean and Vietnam Wars and was a prisoner of war in Hanoi for nearly seven years.
-----
It was on Major Johnson's 25th mission in April 1966, that he was shot down and taken prisoner. Major Johnson remained a prisoner until February 12, 1973. It was early in his second tour in that war.
--------------------------------
McCain was shot down on his 23rd mission over North Vietnam, October 26, 1967. He was released March 1973 after being held captive by the North Vietnamese for 5-1/2 years

Johnson, without naming Murtha, compared criticism of the war and demands for withdrawal with his own experience during the Vietnam War. He could have been talking about both Murtha and McCain, and/or Hanoi John for that matter.

Thank you once again, Rep. Johnson!!
IMHO ~ Murtha, skerry and their ilk need to be told, once and for all and in no uncertain terms, for the sake of this nation and all it stands for, sit down and SHUT THE F*** UP!

The "Koran" wars? I think this is a typo right? Korean War maybe? If so, it could have been a Freudian typo. :) The Koran Wars are now ongoing. Of course they have been, to one degree or another for about the last 1400 years, 610 being the generally accepted year that Mo the Pedophile had his first "revelation"
