For just half a second I took this as a true story. Then I realized that I had slipped into an alternate universe. Then, I was back. LOL Just kidding! If only this were true!

Arrest warrants have been issued for Helen Thomas.
Thomas has reportedly fled the Loop and her whereabouts are unknown.
In a related incident, David Gregory was found drunk and disoriented outside a 14th St. crabhouse insisting that he was Tom Brokaw.
To: Kaslin
The kernel of truth in this satire is that they have recorded Pres Bush saying things when he thought it was private.
Remember that Minister who recorded him talking about drugs? He said he didn't want to risk sending the wrong message to kids about drugs (during the election when the Libs were calling him a cocaine addict).
Amazing how that stuff always seems to blow up in their faces.

The only fiction is that you would NEVER hear a dim say this. They are no longer capable of honesty.

LOL! What a perfect mental picture of David Gregory you've provided!

I got snagged by this one as well! I was thinking brilliant political move on Pelosi's part to gain some kind of credibility in the national arean.

Are all the writers at Scrappleface on vacation? Or the articles being outsourced to some village in Upper Volta (Burkina Faso)?
To me it seems that of late their attempt at humor is half hearted at best and some times, it's just plain not funny.
hmm, now that I think of it, what ever happened to "Lower Volta"??

Lower Volta was the proper name of the old Soviet Union. It was "Lower Volta with Nuclear Weapons" remember?

They can't handle a guy who says the same things in private as he says in public. Telling isn't it?
Scrappleface is the best...and this goes to show why.

It is very telling that one has to do a "Scrappleface double take" to tell is this is fact of satire.
I think the Dems crossed the line with the stunt at the funeral and applauding the failure of congrees to act on SS reform. I am hearing more and more Dems calling in to news and talk shows saying they have had it with the party. The backlash is growing.
