Now, having raided my Mother's spice cabinet, placed various spices in a cellophane bag, and then inside a crumpled brown paper bag, I decided to have some "fun" with the potheads at my school.

It was all fun and games, until somebody snitched. I had the potheads thinking it was real. But we got hauled into the vice principal's office.

I guess I should be lucky that happened thirty years ago, otherwise my Naval Career and Legal Career might never have happened..

Possibly, the Police might send this to the DA for prosecution of "intent to distribute" type charge regarding a "look alike" drug.

However, DA's worth their salt wouldn't waste their time, and I don't think the Judge would convict.

However, the Public School System is all about ZERO TOLERANCE these days. If you thought Muslim Society is strict, it has nothing on the Education system..

You are fortunate you didn't do this in today's public school system. Why, there's folks right here on FR who today probably think you shouldn't have had a Naval/Legal career because of what you did back then.

25,or so, years ago, when this stuff was just getting started, my son was in a socialized school for a few months because we moved and the free market school wouldn’t let him in until the semester break. He wore a Coors tee shirt to school one day and they sent him home because it “promoted alcohol.”

The next day I sent him to school in a Coke tee shirt. The kids all got it, the dumb-a$$ed classroom bureaucrats never caught on.
