I would guess that Oriana sighed and then laughed when she saw this....I could be wrong, but I doubt it.

If "artists" today had any real courage, they would start an exhibit featuring depictions of Islam in all its bloody splendor. "The Prophet" with his hands dripping blood; a smug smiling countenance before a background of rape, fire, and brutality; a Boschean garden of earthly villainy; all these are images of Islam, no more insulting to that gutter religion than Serrano was to Christianity.
But today's artists, all their braggadocio notwithstanding, only have the guts to attack something safe, to pile on the bandwagon of anti-Western thought and bore yet another generation with their self-loathing cliches.

It would be interesting to follow the money. I find it difficult to believe that this "artist" can support himself by selling his art. How much do you want to bet that some group or country is supporting him and telling him what kind of crap to "create".

Someone needs to photo shop Giuseppe Venezianos severed head and send it to him. Show him what the consequences of appeasement to Muslims will get him.

the weakness and perversity of the American way of life. Rendered by people who have probably never been to America, and who can't see the log in their own eye.

Oriana Fallaci nails Islamofacism in her writings and Europeans know it. In my mind, every American and every westerner should read Fallaci's 'The Rage and the Pride' - one of the most insightful books ever written on the coming storm with Islam.
Fallaci's background gives her a powerful vantage point that spells out exactly what Islam is now doing to the west.

A nice turn of phrase, IronJack. Thank you.

More proof that Islam worships violence and death.

A very interesting perspective. I hadn't thought of it that way...guess the artists are chicken.

ROFLMAO !!!!
The best description of that nauseating Annaminpour I have ever seen. She is absolutely disgusting in her sucking (up to) the dictators.

A nifty art piece would be a full scale representation of the woman in a burka kneeling in a stadium about to be beheaded. I'd love to see that one. It is so deeply stirring and religious. (If I had a copy of the real thing, which has been published in the past, and if I knew how to post pictures I'd do so.)

Oriana has much more courage than this painter. Apparently more talent as well.

I can hear the Demoncrats now, "they have the right to depict their own art and you'd better respect it." Meanwhile they have insulting cartoons of Bush and his administration on a daily basis. Perhaps they will move down, not up, to be headings of Bush and his administration.
