Venezuela ready to receive Hamas visit 'with pleasure' By The Associated Press

Venezuela said Monday it would welcome leaders from the Hamas movement "with pleasure" if they visit the country as part of a South American tour following victory in Palestinian elections.

Asked if the Venezuelan government will receive the Islamic militant group, Vice President Jose Vicente Rangel told reporters, "Of course we will. What is the problem?"

"If they come, with pleasure," Rangel said. "They've just won an election."

.....

Rangel said earlier this month that Hamas was expected to visit Brazil, Argentina, Bolivia and Venezuela as part of a regional tour to celebrate its electoral victory. On Monday, he said he didn't know when Hamas would arrive because the visit was not yet confirmed.

Moscow offered to meet this month with Hamas leaders.

Never a better time or place to drop a bomb, IMHO.

The money will run out, if it hasn't already, and Hamas will not be able to afford the airfare to Venezuela. Venezuela and Hamas? Nothing from nothing leaves nothing. Venezuela is teaming up with all of the heavyweights in world politics like Cuba and Hamas and every other insignificant player on the world stage. Venezuela's president does not have the cajones to be a world player.

The Axis of evil is expanding rapidly, and includes some countries that we consider close allies and trading partners. (RUSSIA/CIS AND CHINA) They are the ones behind Hugo Chavez.

My position has been constant.

The closer you come to a sovereign "Palestinian" entity, the closer you come to a devastating war.

A war that now may shape up as a literally a World War type.

Its things like this that make me yearn for the days when we would have sent in the Marines and kicked out this fool and his tinpot dicator master. Not getting serious about taking care of Castro 45 years ago sent the signal that we'd grudgingly tolerate every fool Castro wannabe on our doorstep. The "bad old days" of "Yanqui gringo imperialism" were not necessarily 100% bad.
