I'm truly speechless. Remember how Gore was a "team" member of he Clinton White house?

We all know that had ALGORE taken charge of the White House, it would have been another "Smooth Cruise" with out making any waves.

But Gore did help sell our missile technology to the Chinese so we might say he had some international acclaim.

I have to get off this thread and get something done!

Gore proved how dangerous he would be when he came unhinged trying to get all those recounts. I don't want anyone running this country who wants it as bad as he did. Gore was up to his eyebrows in the Chinese and other stuff... also his trips to Russia -- nothing he did was for the benefit of the American People. IMO the man is and was an idiot.

You are missing my point. I'm not suggesting that Democrats are not rotten Presidents, particulary with regard to national security. They are.

Carter was the worst. Clinton was awful. Thank God we never had to test-out Gore.

My point is simply that any new administration had a better chance of unraveling the 9/11 plot than the Clinton people. Reasonable people can disagree. I hold to my view, in which many persons of all ideologies concur.

Did you just hear Sean Hannity? Lawrence O'Donnell (he's on ABC now???) is reporting that Cheney was drunk when he shot Whittington.

No, but it's all over the leftie moonbat blogosphere.

and then he goes on to say in the article:

How do we know there was no alcohol? Cheney refused to talk to local authorities until the next day. No point in giving him a breathalyzer then. Every lawyer I've talked to assumes Cheney was too drunk to talk to the cops after the shooting. The next question for the White House should be: Was Cheney drunk?

Now... let me make this clear... I don't believe this, this is just an example of how a dispicable human being (O'Donnell) is trying to frame this debate.

Everytime I see O'Donnell's name, I'm reminded of his appearance with John O'Neill on Scarborough country and he kept yelping "LIAR! LIAR! LIAR! LIAR! LIAR!" practically over and over again for the entire segment

You also have missed the point.

Gore WAS a "Clinton Person". And by the time Gore figured out how to rent out the Lincoln Bedroom, his Presidency would have expired. And that's all he would have managed to accomplish.

Hannity (Vanity) is always a half beat off much like the headlines on Newsmax.com.

The headlines are nearly always misleading on Newsmax. And Sean is a near (lovable) fool nearly all the time.

"And it is possible - plausible -- that 9/11 could have been avoided if Clinton had resigned and we had had a better national security team in place under a Gore presidency."

A search for the words "Cummock," "Widow, "Gore," "Commission," "Airlines," "suit" will bring up details that may explode any theory that a Gore presidency might have improved security. As a starter, visit this site.

Michael Reagan was talking about stem cells yesterday (on his radio show) and gave examples in dogs and mice where they are not doing what scientists thought they would.

Arsenic has been used in lead shot as a hardener for centuries.

"Arsenic hardens lead, and is used in alloys for making lead shot and in lead-acid battery plates. It is also said to make lead shot more spherical" http://www.du.edu/~jcalvert/phys/arsenic.htm

"Arsenic is used with lead (0.5% As) in making lead shot. It makes the metal harder than the pure lead and improves the properties of the molten material". http://hyperphysics.phy-astr.gsu.edu/hbase/pertab/as.html

"Inorganic arsenic is a deadly poison and a well known carcinogenic substance. It is used in the making of all lead shot." http://www.medicalnewstoday.com/youropinions.php?opinionid=5352

"*Tip: Lead shot has .5 to 1.0% arsenic (depending on the manufacturer) and can be used as a hardening agent when heat treating lead and lead-antimony alloys. 1/4 of 1% arsenic is all it takes. Adding any more than this adds nothing & will not further harden the alloy." http://www.lasc.us/CastBulletNotes.htm

Decades ago, I routinely cast my own fishing sinkers from scrap lead, indluding recovered shot & bullets. I had to be more careful of asenic fumes boiling off than I ever worried about the lead itself.

I'm NOT worried about this, but rather wonder how The Press will fulinate about, "If he didn't kill the poor man by gunning him down, then he may still kill him by slow poisoning...."
