The deteriorating condition of the Seattle public school system, could have helped the NFL and the Pittsburgh Steelers make it possible to commit the robbery that occured in Detroit on February 5th of 2006.....fenway

They have elementary kids stressed out months before they actually administer the test.

Better learn how to handle that stress early. Think how stressed out they're going to be when they can't handle paying the rent.

I said to my secretary, "If I gave you twelve grand minus fourteen per cent, how much would you take off?" She said, "Everything but my earrings."

You forgot this.

Reminds me of the teenage mother who was failing math because she couldn't do arithmetic--the teacher told her it was too bad she couldn't add because unfortunately she sure could multiply.

I was floored watching a news story today calling kids "Tweens". Isn't that just cute? (barf)

Nearly one in four Seattle Public Schools sophomores is missing required credits and has been reclassified as a freshman, potentially delaying graduation. Why is them not getting a good education? They reporters is using good grammar, no?

Buried at the bottom of the article is this jewel...

The goal is to improve graduation rates -- currently around 60 percent...

What!!! Two of every five high school students drop out and fail to graduate!!!??? In the liberal utopia of Seattle!!!???

How can this be...???

The Union does not care about the students.

The Union's goal is to get the teachers to pay their union dues to the union.
