Thanks. It's a small FReep, but looks like we are getting the best of them. I think verbally engaging them helps to get the fringe leftist out of there.

It's great when people stop and take the time to get out of their car to come over to us, especially when they bring coffee!!

Great job!

Soldiers who were in Iraq and saw us on the corner, went to a local coffee shop and bought us coffee. They sincerely Thanked us for standing there.

Our soldiers are the best! This is why it is so important that we do not allow the anti-war commies to go unchallenged. Imagine if our guys had only seen them on the corner Saturday.

Thank you all. Wish I lived closer so I could join you more often.

Glad to hear "Mr. Ponytail" wasn't there with his "Impeach Bush" sign. He was getting way too much response from passers-by.

How cool that some soldiers were in the area! What great support from them.

...and to Lurker Bill.

Soldiers who were in Iraq and saw us on the corner, went to a local coffee shop and bought us coffee. They sincerely Thanked us for standing there. The leftist antiwar group of three saw this. Hopefully it was demoralizing.

Of course it was! BANG! Like a blast of birdshot from the Vice President's shotgun!

Thanks for the report.

There are actually loads of troops in the area. Just down the road towards Rockville there is a National Guard unit which is currently deployed in Iraq.

Did you notice the flags in front of the BP gas station on your right as you approached our intersection? Each flag represent an Olney resident's family member in Iraq or Afghanistan. The yellow ribbon attached to the flag has the soldier's name, rank & branch of service on it.

The idea is that when the family member comes home, you get the flag to present to them at their home coming celebration. We did it already for our nephew.

I'll have to get a picture of it for the next Olney AAR.

Note to all. After we had dinner across the street that night, I found false charges on my Visa. I have corrected them and have started the investigation on the charges. I'll keep you posted on where this idiot works. Check your cards if you used them that night in MD.

- AmericanProtest.net BUMP!

Way to be, Olney. A friend of mine has a son stationed at Aberdeen.
You know, it was so cold on Saturday in Tucson, that I had to wear both a tshirt and an open shirt, and some others were actually wearing coats. Man, that's freezing around here! Brrrrr!

By the way, an interview came out today which I will be printing and handing out to "anti-war" and others in the future: The Changed Baathist: Interview with Ali Ibrahim Al-Tikriti. It's so good I want to figure out the perfect sign to get people to pull over so I can hand it to them.

Go ahead - rub it in!!!!

:-D

Looked at your last thread. FR & PW getting together, couldn't get any better than that. We are also getting the two groups together for the D.C. FReeps. We are also getting the Young Republicans from local colleges involved. Try contacting them.

It's so easy to immediatly distinguish the conservative side from the libs side when you see pictures of any of these rallys, without even reading the signs. The people who look like they work for a living, or are retired, and who have smiles on their faces are the conservatives.
