It's about time for a cartoonist to put a price on a cleric's head.

$1 million dollar bounty on a GD cartoonist? WTH is wrong with these people? I used to think they still had a attitude worthy of the Middle Ages. I know think that that is an insult to people from that era. These folks are nothing more than savage cavemen living in a world with modern technology.

Okay, so they issue fatwas against each other. Bad enough, but here an Islamic lunatic is soliciting the murder of some joe in a Danish newsroom.

And the world sits quietly by . . .

What I found interesting from The Satanic Verses was this As a result, Hitoshi Igarashi, the Japanese translator of the book was stabbed to death in July 1991, Ettore Capriolo, the Italian translator, was seriously injured in a stabbing the same month, and William Nygaard, the publisher in Norway, survived an attempted assassination in Oslo in October 1991. In 2006, the Iranian state news agency reported that the the fatwa will remain in place permanently.

It doesn't say the above assassinations or assassination attempts were made by muslims, but, my guess is that they were. I was just stating that the above mentioned Islamic lunatic has not been the first or only Islamic lunatic solicitating murder, and in my opinion, will not be the last.
