Lots of questions lingering? Only where the rabid left are concerned, the rest of us are too busy watching American Idol and Dancing with The Stars.

So intent was Matthews on spinning current events into an omen of an impending annus horribilus for President Bush that he wouldn't take 'no' for an answer from his other guest, Mike Allen of Time magazine
Bet it took some real arm twisting to get TIME to agree !

Surprisingly, as you'll note, the Time guy said that it wouldn't necessarily be a bad year for Bush. That's what caused Matthews to reply: "don't say that - help me out here!"

Chris Matthews gets his paycheck from the DNC, or at least he should be charging the DNC for his services.
He's like a gigolo who adores his job and his DNC bosses.
He's like a lawyer for a mafia... Always making dishonest assertions on behalf of the Family.
He's the hustler who sold Jack, from Jack and the Beanstalk, the so-called magic beans, and took the poor kid's cow that was supposed to be sold at market so he could feed his family. There's no such thing as magic beans.
There are a million bad analogies, but none is worse than Chris Matthews on a bad hair day.

When Allen answered "not necessarily," Matthews cut him off: "don't say that. Help me out here!"Saw it. These media rats are sad, depressed, sweaty, and pathetic.

Does anybody take this whacko Matthews seriously? I mean, it seems the only people who watch his show scoff at it and him. Maybe Zell Miller watches it in order to prepare for the duel - that "know your enemy" thing.

I predict this is the beginning of a big, bad year for Matthews.
And I'll bet my prediction is more accurate than Matthews'.
