Ohio among best roads??? That surprised me. Although I'd agree PA is worst.

I've never driven in Ohio so I wouldn't know from personal experience. I definitely agree about PA.

Ditto. PA is the worst. And the turnpike is awful, yet they collect money.

"Ohio among best roads???"

I share your disbelief. They must not mean north east Ohio.

Surprised me also, although it's been about 4 yrs. since I drove the Ohio network. The interstate from Toledo through Cleveland and on to the PA border used to be a pothole nightmare. The interstates south of the rust belt were pretty good though.

*Chuckle* Having lived in/around both I would put PA well ahead of OH but it may be a question of 'which roads?' I can only say that PennDOT seems to finish its projects more quickly and more completely than ODOT.

I haven't read the whole thread yet so someone else has probably noted that Tennessee, Florida, and Texas have the best roads AND no state income tax.
