Ya, scrath him. But if the remaining two are both kooks, and/or total nothings, than Wilson has a shot running as a write in no?

The two Democrats who are running are absolute nobodies, and losers to boot. Check out Bob Carr's website:

http://www.bobcarr.org/

And John Luchanstay doesn't even have a website.

My only fear is that they're such losers that Charlie Wilson may win the RAT nomination as a write-in, and it will go back to being a 50-50 race in November. But if Carr or Luchanstay win the nomination, the GOP nominee can start measuring curtains in the House of Representatives.

You don't think the Dem party has any organizational effectiveness in this district? I remember the district now held by Issa in California. The Pubbie nominee won the nomination running a dirty campaign, very dirty, with lies galore, and Packard ran as a write in and won. When a party establishment unites, going write in is doable.

Granted we don't know if Wilson will run as a write in, in the primary. That I suspect is the big joker in the deck, at the moment.

So, for various reasons, he had OVER HALF of his "registered (all democratic) voters" THROWN OUT.

Now, do you wonder why I suspect much of democrat power resides in the illegal/corrupt inner-city and illegal alien and heavily democratic-for-life precincts?

(But I agree, he's pretty incompetent if he can only get 96 signatures in the first place. And can't FIND the congressional district he was supposed to be running inside of ..)

It was then, yes. But what is the difference with write ins in a primary versus the general election? Yes, the Packard district was more educated and sophisticated than the Strickland district is now. We shall await whether 1) Wilson runs as a write in in the primary, and 2) whether the Dem apparatus pushes Wilson such effort. If the two guys on the ballot are really nothings, I would have to believe that will happen. This district is just too juicy for the Dems to ignore. As I said, we shall see.

One mistake does not necessarily lead to another. I doubt that it will.

Well, if their petition drive is any indication of how the write-in campaign would be organized, I would not bet on it making a difference. ;)

But seriously though, for the time-being I've moved this up to the most vulnerable Dem seat, for obvious reasons. If Wilson is DQed and can't get back on the ballot, it goes to Likely GOP, at least.

I do however think the most likely outcome is for Wilson to win a write-in effort. Even if that's the case I think OH-06 will now be at least a Toss Up at the end of the primary, and possibly Lean GOP.

Sensible enough. But remember this is Ohio.

That only works if they're a Democrat. ;-)

That is a very cynical comment. Are you a cynical type? :)
