According to this one, I'm an INTP with strength preferences of 89, 38, 75, and 11. That's probably a pretty good fit for me. My career is corrosion and materials engineering, and again, the INTP is probably a good fit for what a corrosion engineer does.
For instance, my field is less about making calculations and basing results on a simple calculation. Instead, I must look at different kinds of evidence and construct a hypothesis that covers that evidence. I then have to find a solution, and the best solutions don't always pop out easily from the numbers. Because of these things, a corrosion engineer needs a stronger "N" than most engineers. Of course, engineers tend to be "T" types, and I'm probably something of an exception as an engineer who is a "P" rather than a "J."
