U.S. Senate Majority Leader Bill Frist said Saturday night that after recent briefings, he is now comfortable with an Arab-owned company running port security for six American cities...

Either misleading or an outright lie... An Arab-owned company will be runing port operations, not security. This is why this issue cannot be fairly discussed. Too many people won't talk about the real issue. It is too much fun to carry it to extremes so no one has to think.

I can't believe that it took until this post to point out that the ARTICLE IS BLATANTLY LYING!!!!

"Frist Changes Position, Says He Now Supports Port Security Plan"

It's an operations plan, not a security plan. It never HAS been a security plan. The author is either a complete idiot and doesn't know what he's talking about, or is extremely cunning in using the wrong terms.

EXACTLY!!!
The FACTS have little to do with this, and NO ONE wants to address WHY CAN'T US COMPANIES MAKE MONEY AT THIS anymore!!

A LOT of people are beginning to look stupid on this, but the REAL outcry was because our CongressCritters and thier K Street buddies realized they missed a great chance to fleece some stupid Arabs out of MILLIONS buying influence...

Now that the K Street types are involved, the checks will get passed to both sides of the aisle, and this becomes a non-issue........

Ok then are you for the UAE having access to our US Navy ships as in going onboard them in the shipyards and working on them? How about a nuclear powered aircraft carrier mooring pier side at a UAE port? There is more to this than most persons think. Then again having UAE knowing our defense secrets seems just fine to some as long as the GOP is doing it. Our national security is being sold down the river by persons who use the stock market reports to determine our national security.
