One host said it was the worst thing in the world and promoted terrorism, and Bush should be impeached for it. In the next show, it was a Karl Rove plot to help Republicans take control of the Universe and DPW wasn't any threat. That's what you get when you are an opposition party with no political core--you merely say "No!" when the other guy says "Yes!" and think that's enough. Doesn't matter WHY you're saying no, and doesn't matter if there's any consistency in your reasoning, because your "reasoning" is whatever you think will make someone ELSE join you in saying "No!" at that moment.

That was my feeling too. Making money is usually apolitical. I sincerely doubt advertisers would shrink from selling their stuff because they didn't like the political views expressed on the show.

But if it were my money it was losing, I dont know if I could do it. That, ladies and gentlemen, is liberalism in a nutshell.

Now that I think about it, I don't want AA to fail. Having it around sucks up money from rich leftists with more money than sense. Money that might actually give the libs a real victory if it was used someplace else.
I vote for it to continue to be a black hole.

Missoula is sort of a hippy enclave. The rest of the state kind of thumbs its nose in their general direction. With that said, it's less batty than some other college town that I can think of.

When an AA station goes off the air, complete silence. Thus the phrase "Silence is Golden".

"But Lesley Lotto, who resigned last week as the news and programming director for KNS after learning about changes in format and her duties, said she believes the KNS sales team didnt wholeheartedly try to sell the product. The sales staff was not supporting it, Lotto said, adding that while some sales team members had tried to market the liberal format, others, she felt, were against the programming and didn't have incentive to sell it.
Yeah baby...put that excuse on your resume'.
Salespeople with no incentive to sell...riiiiiiiiigggghhhttt...

I haven't been in radio in 15 years, but what is an Eastlan survey anyway? Perhaps the station commissioned its own survey.

You can't sell a broken vacuum cleaner anymore than you can sell a broken ideology.

The Portland, OR aa radio station had one advertiser listed on their shell website. It was some local plumbing service. LOL. They couldn't even afford to pay for their own website, but had to use a shell site.
GOTTA LOVE IT.

Clear Channel put AA programming on a couple of dozen under-preforming stations over a year ago. AA gave it to them for free. How can this be? The left tells me that Clear Channel is the media wing of the Vast Right Wing Conspiracy.

an Eastlan ratings survey in MissoulaSome of these small ratings outfits can come into a small market like that and do a survey that'll make you look good, if the price is right.
Maybe it's the Eastlan Radio Survey and Storm Door Company.

..."liberal talk radio was a huge hit in Missoula from the beginning."
Why can't we all just get along. Hasn't AA tried to get funding from PBS? What are they thinking?
To: Darkwolf377
To: Khurkris
Another excuse for PBS style funding. Liberals always "need" your money.
