I would point out that Reagan wasn't the one who fell for a Nigerian internet scam.

Dear Dr. Gottschalk,
I am writing you to ask a favor that will help me and prove profitable to you. I have a huge pile of money in a Swiss bank account and I need to launder it so that it looks legit to the local bankers and authorities in my hometown. Please give me access to all your financial information, you life insurance policy, your mother's maiden name, the name of your pet, where you went on your honeymoon, and stuff like that so that I can get my money out of the Swiss bank account and into my sweaty palms so I can begin to spend it. You can trust me because I am on the Internet and scam artist don't know how to use the internet. Let me know as soon as you can. Thank You. Your totally legit net surfer pal.

A liberal idiot who pronounced Reagan an idiot turns out to be have been taken in by Nigerian e-mail scammers? Wow, I find it hard to believe he could be that stupid. Apparently as his son discovered, yep he dealt with Dr. Mobekuwuku or whoever in Lagos and lost $1.3 million. I have yet to hear of President Reagan having lost his shirt in that scam.

Talk about diminished mental capacity . . .

He gained national prominence by announcing in 1987 that President Reagan had been suffering from diminished mental ability as early as 1980.
Gee, think about how well he could have done without "half his brain tied behind his back"!
I'm only in my forties, and I'm already suffering from "diminished mental ability". (Now WHERE are those car keys?!)

He came to this conclusion by using the Gottschalk-Gleser scales, an internationally used diagnostic tool he helped develop for charting impairments in brain function...He would've been wise to take his own test periodically.

How do I get these liberals' e-mail addresses?
I have come across a small fortune and would like to share it with them. It's locked up in a Nigerian bank, though, and I just need $2,000 of their money to help me get it....

He gained national prominence by announcing in 1987 that President Reagan had been suffering from diminished mental ability as early as 1980.... A violation of medical ethics. A doctor is not to diagnose patients he has not examined. The press never lets ethics stand in the way of a good hatchet job, so they played it up.
In the 1964 campaign, as I recall, a group of psychiatrists took out a newspaper ad to say that Barry Goldwater was psycho. I think they concluded, thoughtfully, that Goldwater would blow up the world. Psychiatrists hear voices under their tinfoil hats.
