I read an article a few days ago where it basically stated that Republican exhaustion is going to bring in the Dems. People just want the bad news to go away. Who cares if its manufactured or half truths. They just dont want to hear it anymore.

"By Mansour El-Kikhia"

A good Irish name, if I do say so myself.

I guess when they realize that no one believes them, the left will get more and more shrill. When do they explode?

nternationally, they have fashioned a new enemy for the United States, namely Islam and Muslims.

"New" enemy?

Too much rubbish in this article to even begin taking it apart. The US remains the world's best friend--and best hope. All who love freedom will continue to stand with America.

That's funny...I don't recall us being "loved and respected" during the Clinton years. I seem to recall the World Trade Center and a couple of our embassies getting bombed, not to mention Khobar Towers. Don't know what the author has been smoking, but it couldn't be legal.

"More serious are the attacks on personal freedoms hard-won by the civil rights movement and the counterculture revolution of the '50s, '60s and '70s.:

Well, we know where this guy is coming from. When the Rebulicans hold on to Congress in 06 and win in 08, I can't wait to hear what this guys has to say...bet it has something to do with voter fraud, or "Americans are stupid."

As evidenced by the White House, Congress and the new Supreme Court, the radical right has subjugated America's domestic and foreign policy to its will.

Kind of like when the Looney Left "subjugated" America's domestic and foreign policy to its will?

Does this really pass for news in Austin? Hard to believe that all States have their little cesspools of liberalism isn't it?

I see that this clown is quoting the phony poll that was cooked up by that treasonous liar John Zogby and paid for by an anti-war kook. Zogby deserves nothing less than to be tried for treason and, hopefully, executed. In my opinion, he deserves nothing less than that.

Most important, "the war on terror," the cornerstone of U.S. foreign policy, is providing support for dictators to decimate all legitimate opposition within their societies, further increasing radicalism and anti-Americanism

Oh, NOW I SEE...........don't retaliate because then they'll REALLY, REALLY, REEEEEALLLY be mad at us.

Nice missive there, Neville.

What's amazing is that the libs think that the president's low poll numbers mean that we are all scurrying to the left and ready to vote for Ted Kennedy.

He forgot to mention the other Democrat talking points:

-- Bush's all-out assault on women's rights;
-- The administration's rape of the environment;
-- The virtual looting of our treasury;
-- The nightly blood sacrifices of small children;
-- Poor choice in curtains for the Executive Mansion ...

...one in three service members in Iraq returns with debilitating psychological disorders.

Well, perhaps it's a little off topic, but I heard this crap so much in the '70's and '80's, about all us "crazed Vietnam Veterans", that I almost believed it myself.

It became convenient for many to just blame any aberration on the "crazed Vienam Veteran" syndrome, that it showed up in many movies, television programs, books, etc, and became an official diagnosis of the voodoo-hoodoo socalled shrink doctors when they couldn't pull anything else out of their medicine bags.

It worked back then to demonize our vets, I assume this idiot author feels it will work now.

The more things change, the more they stay the same.

It seems Americans have had enough of the "fair and balanced" news

The downturn in Bush's popularity is because of an increase in bias from the Mass Media (they are out of the Mainstream and merely broadcasting Howie Dean's DNC Talking Points). So yeah, they aren't getting balanced reporting anymore...

Such a beautiful dream! How about envied and reviled? That might be more accurate.

I missed that. I must have been on vacation that day.
