Islam's March Against the West
Because They Hate (excerpts from Intelligence Summit in Washington DC) ^ | 2-18-06 | Brigitte Gabriel

Islam's March Against the West By Brigitte Gabriel

Excerpted from Brigitte Gabriel's speech delivered at the Intelligence Summit in Washington DC, Saturday February 18, 2006.

We gather here today to share information and knowledge. Intelligence is not merely cold hard data about numerical strength or armament or disposition of military forces. The most important element of intelligence has to be understanding the mind set and intention of the enemy. The west has been wallowing in a state of ignorance and denial for thirty years as Muslim extremist perpetrated evil against innocent victims in the name of Allah.

I was ten years old when my home exploded around me burying me under the rubble drinking my blood to survive as the perpetrators shouted Allah Akbar. My only crime was that I was a Christian living in a Christian town. I learned at 10 years old the meaning of the word "infidel." I had a crash course in survival not in girl scouts, but in a bomb shelter where I lived for seven years in pitch darkness, freezing cold, drinking stale water and eating grass to live. At the age of thirteen I dressed in my burial clothes going to bed at night waiting to be slaughtered and by the age of 20 I had buried most of my friends who were killed by Muslims. We were not Americans living in New York, or Britons in London, we were Arab Christians living in Lebanon.

As a victim of Islamic terror, I was amazed when I saw Americans waking up on September 12th 2001 asking themselves, "Why do they hate us?" The psychoanalyst experts were coming up with all sort of excuses as to what did we do to offend the Muslim World? If America and the west were paying attention to the Middle East they would not have had to even ask the question. Simply put, they hate me and you because we are defined in their eyes by one simple word, "infidels."

Under the banner of Islam "la, ilaha illa allah, muhammad rasoulu allah," there is no God but Allah, Muhammad is his prophet, they murdered Jewish children in Israel, massacred Christians in Lebanon, killed Copts in Egypt, Assyrians in Syria, Hindus in India, and expelled almost 900,000 Jews out of Muslim lands. We Middle Eastern infidels paid the price then and for their indifference and shortsightedness infidels worldwide are paying the price now.

Tolerating evil is a crime. Appeasing murderers doesn't buy protection, it earns disrespect and loathing in the enemy's eyes. Apathy is the weapon by which the west is committing suicide. Political correctness is the shackles around our ankles by which Islamists are leading us to our demise.

America and the West are doomed to failure in this war unless they stand up and identify the real enemy. Islam. You hear about Wahabbi and Salafi Islam as the only extreme form of Islam. All the other Muslims are wonderful moderates. I hope the pictures of the irrational eruption of violence from around the world in reaction to the cartoons of Mohammed from burning embassies, to calls to butcher those who mock Islam, or to warnings to be prepared for the real holocaust, has given you a glimpse into the real face of the enemy. The news pictures and video of these events represents a canvas of hate decorated by different nationalities who share one common ideology of hate, bigotry and intolerance derived from one source, authentic Islam. An Islam that is awakening from centuries of slumber to re-ignite its wrath against the infidel and dominate the world. An Islam which has declared "Intifada" on the West.

America and the west can no longer afford to lay in their lazy state of overweight ignorance. The consequences of this mental disease are starting to attack the body and if they don't take the necessary steps now to control it, death will be knocking soon.

If you want to understand the nature of the enemy we face, visualize a tapestry of snakes. They slither and they hiss, and they would eat each other alive, but they will unite in a hideous mass to achieve their common goal of imposing Islam on the world. This is the ugly face of the enemy we are fighting.

We are fighting a powerful ideology that is capable of altering human basic instincts. An ideology that can turn a mother into a launching pad of death. A perfect example is a recently elected Hamas official in the Palestinian Territories who raves in heavenly joy about sending her three sons to death and offering the ones who are still alive for the cause. It is an ideology that is capable of offering highly educated individuals such as doctors, and lawyers far more joy in attaining death than any respect and stature, life in society is ever capable of giving them.

The United States has been a prime target for radical Islamic hatred and terror. Every Friday, mosques in the Middle East ring with shrill prayers and monotonous chants calling death, destruction and damnation down on America and its people. The radical Islamists' deeds have been as vile as their words. Since the Iran Hostage crisis, more than three thousand Americans have died in a terror campaign almost unprecedented in its calculated cruelty along with thousands of other citizens worldwide. Even the Nazis did not turn their own children into human bombs, and then rejoice at their deaths as well the deaths of their victims. This intentional, indiscriminate and wholesale murder of innocent American citizens is justified and glorified in the name of Islam.

America cannot effectively defend itself in this war unless and until the American people understand the nature of the enemy that we face. Even after 9/11 there are those who say that we must "engage" our terrorist enemies, that we must "address their grievances". Their grievance is our freedom of religion. Their grievance is our freedom of speech. Their grievance is our democratic process where the rule of law comes from the voices of many not that of just one prophet. It is the respect we instill in our children towards all religions. It is the equality we grant each other as human beings sharing a planet and striving to make the world a better place for all humanity. Their grievance is the kindness and respect a man shows a woman, the justice we practice as equals under the law, and the mercy we grant our enemy. Their grievance cannot be answered by an apology for who or what we are.

Our mediocre attitude of not confronting Islamic forces of bigotry and hatred wherever it raised its ugly head in the last 30 years, has empowered and strengthened our enemy to launch a full scale attack on the very freedoms we cherish in their effort to impose their values and way of life on our civilization.

If we don't wake up and challenge our Muslims community to take action against the terrorists within it, if we don't believe in ourselves as Americans and in the standards we should hold every patriotic American to, we are going to pay a price for our shortsighted delusion.

For the sake of our children and our country, we must wake up and take action. In the face of a torrent of hateful invective and terrorist murder, America's learning curve since the Iran hostage crisis is so shallow that it is almost flat. The longer we lay supine, the more difficult it will be to stand erect.

Are you a student in Jay Bennish's Geography class in Colorado?

No, I think he's either a very naive FBI agent or some dumbass at State.

Echo Talon sez: exactly, and inflaming and inciting them will do us no favors, also discouraging and humiliating our allies in the region also isn't helpful toward our objectives.

Inflaming and inciting? For f*ck's sake, they're already 'imflamed and incited'! What more do you want?

Objectives? Who's objectives?

That's my take on what I've seen on this thread and it's based on my conversations with some serious dumbasses in our government who sound just like you Echo.

Oh, I'm not saying you're accusing me of being a racist, but some on here might.

And you're right, it is a death cult.

The West will not stand up as long as our own President continues to consider Islam a NOBLE religion.

I can assure you that the Americans charged with protecting you are very aware of the threats and where they are most likely to come from.

This is America, not imperial Rome. We are all responsible for protecting ourselves, and each other. Some people just do it full time. I was once one of those, O-2 full time, 0-3 as part time but still professional.

Unless you want to fight EVERY MUSLIM, maybe you should try and help eradicate who were are at war with.

Trying to force cultural change will only lead to further feelings of resentment. Rewarding nations who don't change, and continuing to look the other way is just inviting a knife to the back.

In the case of the UAE thy have changed "some" to a great deal since 9/11 yes not as much as we would like, but change for the better no doubt, to discount thier strides forward to me would send the wrong message.

Although I do want America to be energy independant and off the tit of ME oil, I don't think that is going to stop terrorism.

Amen! great article!

"Political correctness is the shackles around our ankles by which Islamists are leading us to our demise."

Well she nailed it right on the head! Yet we still have a bunch of mind numbed robots spouting the party line like a mantra and even arguing that the UAE are our friends

I disagree with your take on this great lady... She tells it like it is. she is right on... stop political correctness; punish those under the Sedition Act of 1917 for speaking out against our country...
As to your comments on UAE, and the ports scandal....
I am against this... BUT...BUT (I qualify this by thinking that Bush is protecting our country...AND I think that his reasoning is that: we need the UAE for the use of their airport and strategic location in the event war breaks out with Iran, and other arab countries. Therefore, I support Bush wholeheartedly....Just watch them closely..arabs are the enemy....but sometimes in war games an enemy of an enemy can become, or be used as a friend.

Never said America's energy independence was going to stop terrorism dead in its tracks. You changed the subject matter, so I thought I'd expand the debate. America's energy independence would releave the US government from obligations we now have with Islamic nationstates in the ME. It would reduce business dealings, end certain arrangements and alter specific agreements the US govt and US businesses now have with the Islamic world. This would free the hands of US bureaucracts to take a more hardcore relationship with the Islamic world, and allow the US military to focus on killing more "jihadists" and islamofascists". America's energy independence would help to slow down the threat from terrorism and allow America to advance our other interests we have in the world today. If you don't believe what I just posted, you're out of touch with reality even more then I thought you were.

"In a matter of two sentences, you completely contradict yourself"

Oh, I agree. That is why I wrote that I was clueless and shutting up.

It is a conundrum that I cannot work out. It is obvious to me that Islam is the root problem, but it is also equally obvious to me that it is "unamerican" to make war on a religon. It is a path we cannot go down. Please, no joke, someone tell me the solution.

Even though the religion of Islam and the Islamic world are one in the same cultural entity, making the WOT difficult to prosecute at times, its not an impossible task as some make it out to be. Its in the best interests of America to fight and kill jihadists and islamofascists wherever they are. I think Americans should demand our government do nothing short of prosecuting this war to the fullest extent. The choice is clear. Either we kill them or they kill us. I find that to be an easy choice.

"or 2. Kill every Muslim on the planet,,, Im not prepared to spill that much blood so we need to change some hearts & minds along with the culture."

As I have said before, the culture is toxic. That is the essence of what she is saying. Western Civilization has been at war with this toxic culture since 700 A.D. Now is the culmination. The simple truth: the solar system isn't big enough for Western Civilization and Islam. So...

It could go either way, if we were energy independent it could also cause "some" to think that our military in the region is no longer needed, thus allowing terrorist to go unfettered and unopposed. IF our military were to pull out, Israel would be more isolated and vulnerable than what they are today.

"Either we kill them or they kill us. I find that to be an easy choice."

Well said. It ALL essentially comes down to survival.

Unless something happens to intervene, Iran is going to be next. I don't see that we have any choice. We cannot let those people have nuclear weapons. I had a friend, of democratic persuasion, say why can we have WMD and then say they can't. My answer was simple like yours. It is in our best interests and self protection to keep stop additional nations from obtaining nuclear weapons, especially crazy ones like Iran which will most certainly use it.

There are no real shades of gray here IMO. Either the American way of life is worth preserving or it is not. I say it is, and therefore I have no problem crushing those that would threaten it. It is, however, my hope that what is in America's best interests, is also in the worlds. This may be naive, but it helps me sleep at night.
