Indeed, although one may also argue that they have already won, as evidenced by Spain's capitulation in the war on terror.
Putting criminals in charge of their own destiny, in large measure, further erodes Spain's status as any sort of a nation that takes its own criminal laws seriously. Terrorists watching world events will see Spain as a weakling in the world. Terrorists, being cowards, eagerly exploit perceived weaknesses.

Seems like Spaniards are confused.
Right off the top of my head I don't recall what policy regarding transsexuals exists in US or UK prisons, but I have no doubt that if the Left were to have it's way there would be an identical policy to Spain's here in America.

May not, if the female transsexuals who used to be woman but now are men will get equal treatment and have to spend time in the mens cells.
In this case the Muslim men will fear of going to prison where they would be treated equally to those whom they perceive as females, and thus would be too afraid of committing crimes .
