From Fayetteville, N.C. to Fresno, Ca., FReepers will be holding patriotic counter-demonstrations of the anti-American left as they use the third anniversary of the start of Operation Iraqi Freedom to launch yet another assault on the morale of the American people.
One of the leading anti-American groups, United for Peace and Justice, has been kind enough to post calendar listings for this weekend. Just browse to see where the commies are gathering and make your plans to counter them.
It won't take much, just bring your flags, friends and family and some signs bearing messages of support for our troops and their mission fighting the war on terrorists.
Please chime in here or post a thread announcing your plans so others may join you. You don't need a lot of people to do this. Even just a few FReepers can make all the difference in the world (ask Mary Mapes or Dan Rather.)

The same turds and maggots that crapped all over us when I was in uniform are pulling the very same crap again today. This is NOT ACCEPTABLE in any way, shape, form or manner. This time, I say that those that are spitting on our military, our president and our way of life need to get a very unmistakeable message that their bullshite will not be tolerated.

Who said anything about acting like them? First off, I'm going to shower, shave, and put on clean clothes before heading out. And if I choose to bring a flag, it will be Old Glory and she'll be displayed properly, with pride and respect. To each his own, of course, but I reckon the Bill of Rights provides for freedom of assembly for a reason. On Saturday I'm going to tell the world that I love my country and support our troops and our Commander in Chief. You do whatever you want.
The usual anti-war groups will be protesting in Minneapolis Saturday, 3/18, 1:00 pm, at the Library Plaza and Mall Area, Hennepin and Lagoon Avenues, Minneapolis.

All the protests in WV are saying they will display a wall of panels displaying the names of all the fallen soldiers. I wonder if they are allowed to do that without the families' permission. I threatened one of the organizers with a lawsuit if they use the names without permission. I also shamed her for dishonoring our head heros. These protests are all close enough for me to go and counter them, but I have long-standing obligations for Sat. Grrrrrr. Finally a chance to freep and I'm tied up. There ain't no justice. Sometimes I hate being so needed.
