A Day in the Life of President Bush (photos): 3.15.06

The president addressed an audience in Silver Spring, MD, on the benefits of Medicare prescription drug benefit.

Members of Congress met with Bush on his upcoming legislative agenda. Many of the major stock indexes have hit 5 year highs; the Dow Jones 30, the SP 500 included.

Bush attended the Hungarian Celebration of Contributions to Democracy, marking the 50th year since the Hungarian revolution.

Click here for an article, with video links, about Laura Bush and exercising. Laura's shocking confession! "I Was Shamed into Starting To Exercise." =)

Thank you for these wonderful links!

Outstanding "positive" articles about the Presidential visit to NY. How wonderfully refreshing!

And, three cheers for Byron York!

Today, the opinion stands as a bedrock statement of presidential power. And ironically, it came from a case that was not about whether the president had overstepped his bounds, but about whether the courts had overstepped their bounds. The Court of Review ruled strongly in favor of the president

What a cute gif! It needs a gif next to it, a guy with Ted Mack's Amateur Hour shepherd's hook to pull him offstage.

"I want to thank my parents for encouraging my love of gif acting.
I would also like to thank my gif agent and gif publicists--you guys are the greatest!

My beautiful gif wife--this is for you, baby!

And finally I would like to thank all the gif fans out there ... *voice cracking* You made all my giffing dreams come true!"

I am beginning to believe he is a double agent...

I started believing that about a year ago. He wanted the President to win so there would not be an incumbent to run against her royal heinousness.

I found this regarding the decoration:

The bronze fasces, used since Roman times to symbolize civic authority, are located on both sides of the U.S. flag. The original Roman fasces consisted of an axe within a bundle of rods, bound by a red strap. The fasces were carried before the consul and were used to restore order and to carry out the punishment of the courts.

I can attest to that one I think dad has been amazed at the kindness to him and me over the last few month.

God Bless you Miss Marple and your family at this time.
