Very interesting. Both of your posted examples of your own creativity and both are worlds away from the first thoughts that come to mind when the artisan archtype is mentioned.

Both of you mentioned creative pursuits that are for the most part, solitary pursuits. Indy even came right out and said that she prefers to avoid the social stuff if at all possible.

I'm the complete opposite. Outside of writing, I'm not particularly creative. Even writing to me is just story telling, and I'd much rather be telling stories at a party where it's much more fun than sitting behind a monitor. I'm the guy that lives for opportunities like open mike night at the comedy club. I love that kind of thing.

I can't live without social interaction. I thrive on the party atmosphere and I tend to brood if I'm forced to stay at home. Well, brood and freep anyway.

Call it a very strong hunch, but I'd bet body parts that introverts are EXTREMELY overrepresented here on FR, and that extroverts are very rare.

Excellent breakdown. You're absolutely right. I should have thought of that.

I've taken the test five times and averaged the results in each axis. I'm so close to the middle of the fourth axis (j/p) that I've been on both sides of it and the average is just .4%. I end up iNFj -- barely. :)

With all the "Masterminds" on that list, I'm starting to believe there actually IS a VRWC.

Yes, they might have thought it up, but the "Architects" designed it. :-/

Excellent! Although I'm suprised that I'm in the same group as "Right Wing Atheist." Offset by "Joe-Six Pack though.

Thanks!

You can add me to the list/table if you're so inclined. I'm a ISFJ.

WAR is an ugly thing! But not the ugliest of things; the decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feeling which thinks nothing worth a war is worse. A man who has nothing which he cares more about than he does his own personal safety is a miserable creature who has no chance at being free, unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself. - John Stuart Mill

Saw your tag line and could not restrain myself from posting the entire quote as it is one of my favorites!

Here is another I find quite compelling especially when put into the context of where, as a nation, we currently find ourselves!

"We have staked the whole of all our political institutions upon the capacity of mankind for self-government, upon the capacity of each and all of us to govern ourselves, to control ourselves, to sustain ourselves according to the Ten Commandments of God." - James Madison

It is one of my favorites too. If you click on my name, you will see a few more that I really relate to. Thanks for sharing the one from James Madison.
