Leftists March With Empty Boxes....., Ft. Collins, CO, AFTER FREEP REPORT

Fort Collins, Colorado. The local Center For Peace and Justice members marched to downtown Fort Collins carrying empty boxes to rally against the war. Marching in front of them were a bunch of FReepers........

FReepers from throughout Northern Colorado today converged on Fort Collins to help the local leftists with their annual parade. We picketed them when they were setting up for the parade and then we helped out by leading them down the street all the way to Old Town. This is the third year we have FReeped the parade, and it was a hoot as usual!

I brought a box too.

A fun afternoon it was, my jaw still hurts from all the grinning. We had a great time with great FReeper friends and lurkers. The leftists sure are a bunch of whiners. FReepers weldgopharline, Fire Engine Red, jan in colorado, and I along with a whole bunch of lurkers (I'll let Jan fill in all the names...) let Fort Collins know who was coming down the street. We were even visited by a guy who thinks he is an ALIEN LOL!! I'll get this thread started so the others can post their stories...

Although I disagree that we should use up our ANWR oil before expending everyone else's (I want to be the last ones with any around...monopolies are great!), I'm so glad to see such support for the troops!

Here are some of the funnier things that happened to me during todays FReep:

We have had this guy come by on his bicycle for the past two years. He says he is an ALIEN from the planet Silica, were everyone is made of glass! LOL! Before the march started I saw him coming down the street on his bike. I yelled "Hey Alien Dude!" and waved at him. He came right on over and started talking. He told me he hasn't seen another alien for so long now that he is starting to forget what they look like. I asked him if he had seen any black helicoptors lately? "No, but I did see a silver one way up there in the sky three days ago. It was running in silent mode and was headed north. Whats up north of here?" To which I replied "Cheyenne, that's where they keep the nukes". ROTFLMAO!

When the march started we walked along the opposite side of the street waiting for them to cross over to our side. When they finally did, we waited to see which direction they were going to go when they met up with us on the corner. They started one way and we raced outin fornt of them. Then they changed direction and we had to sprint to get in front of them again. They were all laughing at us and we were cracking up too, because we were in front leading the way. One lady raced in front of us, then realized the peace-niks had stopped about a half a block back to chant and play bongo drums. It was funny watching the look of horror on her face as she realized they had abandoned her. She ran all the way back to them.

This wise guy college student came up to us wearing a T-shirt with a picture of President Bush on it. He had written "Fascist!" on W's forehead. I asked him "What is the definition of a fascist?". He couldn't answer that one. When I told him that it was someone who supported a dictator, he told me that George Bush was a dictator. Those CSU professors have done their job well.

Again the Freepers rule the day, We had a blast putting the scowl on the faces of many a liberal today.I don't think they like us much because we show up at all their leftist events. We had many ask how we knew what they were doing all the time. The fascist college spawn was a hoot. I asked him if doing the wire taps on suspected contacts of Al Qudea is a bad thing if it prevents a attack. To my surprise he said no it would not but quickly added that it was against his laws. I asked him when he would join the military if he had the guts to as many of our young service men & woman have done. He had no answer but to say he supports the military , which if that is support I'm glad he is not watching my sons back right now.Some support giving aid to the terrorist's by backhand support to our troops.

Amazing that I've seen that same sign now for 2 or 3 parades, yet never noticed the extra apostrophe.

Just goes to show you there are two kinds of people - 1) the unimportant kind who spend many hours making signs, driving to cities hours away from their homes, and facing down hordes of angry leftists (who on occasion will become physically threatening) in all kinds of weather for half a day at a time. And then there are: 2) The really, really, important kind of people who are too lazy to do anything like this themselves to support our troops, but will instead sit on their big fat butts at home, picking apart the punctuation of the people doing all the work.

I don't care about a little grammer error on such a wonderful sign. It still gets the point across in spades. I had a great time with my "LEFTIST WHINING EVENT" sign. I could hear them whining about it constantly. Most of the whining consisted of one thing. "We support the troops too!" the leftists all complained. During WWII these people would have been beaten up or worse.

As I was walking in front of the parade, I ran into one of my customers. She knows I do these things and just cracked up laughing when she recognized me. I was another fun day FReeping leftists.

FYI: Over here in D.C., some of us when rehabing our signs, have been replacing some of the 'Support' words with 'Honor'. Too many of the liberals and moonbats say they "support" the troops. That word is being cheapened by them so honor differentiates us. But we still keep 'Support", because we really do.

You, of course, have no friggin' idea at all what I do in and for my own community. And I won't bother telling you because I have no need to defend myself.

I'm sorry you don't believe correct grammar, spelling and punctuation are important. It's always been my understanding that conservatives favor better and improved education. I edit and write for a living and when I see a sign with an error that even my 12-year-old wouldn't make, the message is lost. And I'm not the only one.
