"I don't see any point of further discussion. Your nothing more than an academic clone."

It does appear that further discussion with you is not likely to be productive.

that's not true...many reputable scientists know that evolution is false. They are certainly part of the scientific field. Because they are a small percentage doesn't mean that their veiw is less valuable. I really don't think you have truly looked into the holes of evolution theory.

Flat out not true. I have been given a list of 500 so-called "scientists" who may or may not be opposed to Evolution (the petition did not really state that).

Someone helped with the math, but 500 out of the estimated several million scientists ends up being an infintesimal number -- effectively zero. Smaller than a "small percentage." NOT "many" by any measure.

"Invariably there rejection is based on their religious views. "

And that is sad and ironic - there is no conflict between God and the methods God may have used. Their God is too small.

Good grief. If Hovind is the best you guys can do, you're finished. At least trot out the respectable frauds like Behe rather than the unapologetic carnival-barker, tax cheat, diploma mill recipients like Hovind.

The other thing that Greg and Caffe have to do besides trot out Hovind is to dismiss anyone with academic expertise or trust in academics.

Hovind could slam-dunk you

Dawkins reminds me more of a carnival-barker. Or perhaps you? You seem to enjoy scaming people with your lies about Hovind. I guess instead of actually debating his facts, you'd rather engage in personal attacks - like the Dems.

Actually there are many good scientists that have rejected the theory of evolution because of the falseness of it shown in many ways. To say it is due to their religion just isn't true. And yes, I have read quite a bit of both sides. I think you terming the anti-evolutionist info as propoganda is a bit of projection on your part.

The petition of 500 scientist doesn't show that they are the only in the world that see the falseness of evolution theory. You state it as though that is all that exists when you just don't know that to be true. Anyways, there have been other beliefs held by a vast majority of the educated throughout history that were later found to be false. I can show you a few examples if you would like.

Even Answers in Genesis thinks Hovind is sketchy.

"Actually there are many good scientists that have rejected the theory of evolution because of the falseness of it shown in many ways.

What falsenesses would those be?

"To say it is due to their religion just isn't true.

Every single attempt to make the evidence fit Biblical accounts is based on religion. The current push for ID by the Discovery Institute and by P. Johnson is evidenced as religious by the 'Wedge Strategy' document, they wrote. Every argument put forward by the ICR and AiG, by the very oath they require of their 'scientists' is an attempt to mold the evidence to fit the Biblical creation stories and is therefore religiously based.

"And yes, I have read quite a bit of both sides.

Yet you persist in presenting straw man versions of the ToE. Why is that?

"I think you terming the anti-evolutionist info as propoganda is a bit of projection on your part.

What do you call the obvious 'appeal to emotion' that laces the 'papers' published by ID and Creation 'scientists'? Compare the papers from established scientists in well known publications to those of the 'anti-evolution' group, you'll find the language differences telling.

That is true. However that does not mean it will be the case every time as is assumed by those that repeat this argument, as in fact there are many more cases where the consensus was shown to be correct. The reason it looks so enticing is that the exceptions stand out by being exceptions, but it is really a very poor argument.

Argue the evidence not the desires.

I just found a creation site called evolutionoftruth and the scientific language and depth of information is pretty amazing. Not at all based on emotion or the bible, but scientific information.
