That's what the foreign troops already within our borders are supposedly really here for. "Training" is reportedly a cover story.

You know, if I hadn't read your posts before, I'd assume you were kidding about that old saw.

Seen any good movies lately? Gotta a hot recipe?

Nope, won't give hollyweird one thin dime.
Won't give the TV air time.
Don't cook.

Weather? Chilly and a tad windy. You?

Not nothing.

You and others in your family have had a number of years of mostly freedom.

One prays such years have not been squandered in a list of ways. Given that you are hereon, I assume you have made good use of them.

The future for some thankfully limited number of years is, in the natural realm, bleak beyond words. Thankfully, God is still on His throne and still has things in His hands.

But it will get darker before it gets lighter.

Nevertheless, we must fight against this and all other looming tyranny as God and wisdom and our courage direct.

Geez that's terrible about talk radio in WA. There's something wrong in Washington state. I stop and visit every year on my way from California to Alaska: beautiful place. And be sure to take a flashlight when you go hiking in the afternoon in Olympic National Park. Once I was hiking there w/o a flashlight and hiked out too far into the Ho river valley, then darkness fell with heavy clouds and it got incredibly dark before I made it all the way back to my SUV. I had to hike through a bumpy, muddy trail for about 20 minutes stumbling around in the dark. Lucky I didn't break an ankle. That's the darkest place I've ever been and I have good night vision and I've done a lot of camping. It was just pitch black; no source of light anywhere--had to navigate by the sound of the river. That taught me a lesson to always take a flashlight.

But I'm sorry to say, there's something wrong with any state that would elect Patty Murray to the US Senate....lol. Washington has a high moonbat ratio I think; too much imported Canadian weed.

"It seems like even the Bush loyalists have lost faith in Bush, as if it is just expected that he will neglect his duties to veto bad legislation. How else do you explain why there aren't more people bashing him along with McCain?"

We're at war and he is our President...

The House, meanwhile, is considering the Online Freedom of Speech Act proposed by Rep. Jeb Hensarling, R-Texas, The "blogger protection bill," as it is known in some circles, simply codifies the current status of Internet bloggers. Senators Tom Coburn, R-Okla., and Harry Reid, D-Nev., are co-sponsoring a similar bill in the Senate.

Strange bedfellows -- Coburn and Reid on the side of Free Speech.

There will be attorneys standing in line to fight such a thing. They'll have to take tickets. 42 USC 1988 offers a reasonable attorney fee if they win, and they'll win.

"Actually - it REALLY IS at least partially Bush's fault - the SOB should have vetoed the bill.... no huevas..."

Partially? He signed the bill. Simple as that. Sure the lawmakers are to blame (especially McCain), but I doubt they were holding a gun to his head at the time he signed it into law.

I told people McCain destroyed the First Ammendment, but no one listened.

Next time, tell them he destroyed the First Amendment.

You are slightly nuts in a very pleasant manner.

I do believe that is the nicest thing anyone on FR has ever said to me.

I knew it was a shake up-wake up when the article was first posted. To grab peoples attention before it becomes a possible reality. Read my post #22.

The powers that be have virtually all the nuts and bolts hard, tangible power on their side.

They are nothing if we come together as a people and tell them enough is enough. There's a hellofalot more of us than them. A little revolution from time to time is a good thing.

We have prayer, right, God, and the power of all of us acting together.

A winning combination that cannot be beaten.

That's why I'd like a multiplicity of other options including out of country. Lives will ultimately depend on us having a multiplicity of options. FREEPER LIVES, and FREEPERS' FAMILIES' LIVES and the lives of others we love and care for.

And do what? Cry on each others shoulders? It's time to put a stop to this before it goes any further. There will be no need for an alternate site. As Jim said, I'm ready to grab my pitchfork.

Of course, ultimately, only God can save us from the dark forces loose in the world and our own beloved land. But we must still do what we can while cooperating wholesale with God, first and foremost.

God helps those who help themselves.

No need for further codification.

See U.S. Constitution, Amendment 1.
