"Please refrain from adding your own lines and asking me to explain your words."

Great comeback. Hahahaha. I thought the same thing when I read his/her comments. You never said what he/she has inferred you did. He just projected his own thoughts on your comment. Touche.

Are you saying that there are no men who beat their wives, sodomize their children, play around w/another woman, etc.? You must not listen to or read the news.

Not implying anything ... simply stating the defense will raise one or all of these issues. Whether any or all are justified is the question ... short of the defendent stating categorically and for the record I killed him because I hated him (no specific reason), the defense will come up with something ... real or not.

Why, on earth, has this become such a big national story???

This happens all over the US every day.
Wives kill husbands and husbands kill wives.

I guess March is quite boring for the Lamestram Media.

I just heard on FOX the authorities know the motive. It was not adultery. One of them went on to say a psychologist called her yesterday stating there is one reason a woman shoots her husband in the back--to protect her children.

I do not know if this is the case or not, nor am I saying this "excuses" her or absolves her in any way. I do think if in fact, the husband was a threat to her kids, or if his daughters were victimized by him in the worst possible way, those girls deserve a full airing of the facts first. We also owe it to the father to allow all facts to come out in case he was everything a father should be.

We can all say none of us would resort to cold blooded murder, not we do not know what we would do.

When this story broke I saw this picture of the family and thought "What a sad face the little girl in front of the baby has.

The little girl in front of her father may have a smile on her face, but it seems as if she is pulling away from his hand and her entire body is tense.

Actually, it was the look in the eyes of the middle child that caught my attention.

This picture grabbed me before I heard any talk of the wife being a suspect or involved in any way. Mine was a pure gut reaction to that photo.

So sad--

.....This woman will NEVER get the death penalty. You wanna bet on it?.....

Tennessee has no real death penalty. Judge Nixon always finds a way around it

I read in this morning's Washington Times that sure enough, while the police will not state the motive...not infidelity, btw...they didn't rule out abuse of the daughters.

And that's exactly what i expected to come to light on this...she will probably be found innocent by reason of temporary insanity and be charged with manslaughter vs. pre-meditated murder.

What baffles me is the inconsistency.

After an article about a child molestor is posted, I have seen MANY times people making comments about killing the perpetrator right on the spot. Isn't this consistent with vigilante justice?

(of course assuming this was the reason)

I can only speak for myself. I cannot imagine the rage if I discovered my husband committed the worst possible offense against our children. I do not know what I would do, but I can see myself in a murderous rage.

Would I be able to control that rage? Only God knows.

BTW-last night an ivestigator from Tennessee was on Greta (or maybe H&C). What was most striking about that interview was the lack of the "she killed her husband in cold-blood" type of statement we hear so often. The investigator seemed to go out of her way to avoid this, although she made no excuses either.

It's also the latest and greatest excuse to "off" your husband. Or at the very least, deny your ex-husband rights to the children.

Mine was too. Wonder if they will say why she did it?

For the same reason the "runaway bride" became such a big story. Our lamestream media has totally lost perspective and contact with the American people.

Point taken, especially in the custody wars between a man and a woman who selfishly put their own issues above what is best for the children.

None of us know what happened in that house, only that those three girls have had their world turned upside down. My heart breaks for them.
