Maybe he has fiddling with the organist. ;)

Since he was a pastor in the Church of Christ that was highly unlikely.

I am afraid you will have to explain; please show me where I validated murder. My line was - A Ministers wife is one tough job. - I do not see where it says, implies or infers I was validating murder. Please refrain from adding your own lines and asking me to explain your words.

What exactly does "A Ministers wife is one tough job" have to do with this thread? This is about a woman murdering her husband by shooting him in the back not the woes of being a minister's wife.

My misunderstanding I thought it was about a ministers wife.

It is a fact, I do not make excuses or joke about death.

I don't see it as a joking matter, either. I also don't see a connection between being a pastor's wife a "tough job" and committing first-degree murder. What does one have to do with the other? There are zillions of "tough jobs" out there.

From personal experience one of my best friends was a ministers wife; she had a terrible terrible life. In this forum my intention was not to condone what this person did; I was simply making a comment; I thought this was a forum to discuss a subject, I was wrong to input my opinion, a couple of people were upset I wrote what I did. You are right, there are many people with tough jobs; in the future I will keep my thoughts to my self and refrain from participating unless I have something more to offer.

On one side of my family there are many pastors and I have known the husbands, wives, and children very well. I'm sorry one of your best friends married to a pastor had a "terrible, terrible" life. Of all the pastors' wives I know well, I can't say that about any of them. Are there difficulties, heartaches, and problems? Sure. That's life. There is also a great deal of love, joy, and fulfillment. Perhaps your friend's problems had more to do with the person she was married to and not what he did for a living. I wouldn't make a blanket judgment on being the wife of a pastor based upon 1 person's experience.

A minister's wife who has confessed to shooting her husband in the back. That's what all this is about. Everyone has a tough life, but not everyone murders their spouse in cold blood.

We knew she was under stress, but one day she said she had enough, left two little girls about 9 and 11 with him and headed to Los Angeles. Maybe it was one of only a few cases (thankfully she did not kill her husband).

"The defense will be ... he's a wife beater, he sodomized the children, he was playing around with another women (one, or all of the aforementioned) or, she's bipolar, suffers from depression, was an abused child, etc.."

Are you saying that there are no men who beat their wives, sodomize their children, play around w/another woman, etc.? You must not listen to or read the news.

Beneath her make up I guess. I don't like that woman, she epitomizes "tragedy tv" in my humble opinion...

"Plus, she shot him in the back....so there goes her self defense argument."

Well, I suspect she shot him in the back because she was afraid of him, and what he would do if she tried to shoot him in the front where he could see what she was about to do. You know, there's something wrong with this picture. These two had 2 kids of 7-8 years of age and a 1 year old. This isn't a woman with a criminal past. She was a pastor's wife who had been married to him for some time. Something big had to have happened or had been happening right along for her to have plugged him. Well, we'll soon know.

I was simply making a comment;

I don't quite understand all the bruhaha over your comment. The stress of trying to live a 'perfect' life with a 'perfect' marriage and 'perfect' children could certainly be a factor in this case. And, of course, that doesn't mean this is an excuse for murder, but only another possible and plausable contributing factor to whatever happened.

Don't let a few people who are quick to jump down your throat, stop you from posting. For every one of them, there was another person reading your post and nodding their head.

Wait a second...don't back down so fast.

In my town, I know a young lady with three children. She had a sizzling affair with a very prominent Pastor from the West Coast, who used to come here for Revivals, with his WIFE.

This girl fell in love with him, left her own husband for him..and it's said he is the father of her third child.

Her life is now a complete mess, but the Pastor is still married, and Preaching the word of God to the masses.

These things happen.

"since watching your mom shoot your dad dead,"

The police said that the kids didn't know that their dad had been shot. That's the police in Alabama saying this, after talking to the children. They didn't see anything.
