During Op. Swarmer, at least 11 caches were discovered and more than 104 terrorist murderers taken.

* Six shoulder-fired surface-to-air missiles;
* More than 350 mortar rounds and three mortar systems;
* 26 artillery rounds;
* A variety of bomb-making materials and other military items;
* More than 120 rockets;
* More than 3,200 rounds of small-arms ammunition;
* 86 rocket-propelled grenades and 28 launchers;
* Six land mines;
* 12 hand grenades and 40 rifle grenades; and
* 34 rifles and machine guns of various types.

In Fallujah,, American heroes and Iraqi soldiers advance for weapons caches
and materials used to make improvised explosive devices.


In al-Dor, north of Baghdad, joint US-Iraqi patrols rooted out terrorists


========= Abu Ghraib =========

In Abu Ghraib, on the outskirts of Baghdad,
American heroes retrieved 150 mortar rounds, 60 RPG rounds,
130 grenades, 120 rockets and more than 30,000 rounds of small arms ammunition
with their launching devices.


========= Al Asad =========

In Al Asad, in western Iraq's Al Anbar province,
American heroes make a rope rigging look easy.


========= Balad =========

In Balad, ~43 miles north of Baghdad, inside a Buffalo vehicle
where an American hero uses a robotic arm to search a suspicious piece of refuse for a roadside bomb,
called an IED.


========= Baquba =========

In Baquba, northeast of Baghdad, Iraqi soldiers display locally made mortars
and mortar shells after they found several weapons cache during a morning raid.


========= Samarra =========

From Baghdad and to srrounding areas near Operation Swarmer,
the Iraqi Red Crescent distributes supplies.


========= USS Cape St. George =========

Aboard USS Cape St. George, weapons confiscated during an early-morning engagement with pirates on Saturday, March 18, 2006.
Two U.S. Navy warships exchanged gunfire with suspected pirates Saturday off the coast of Somalia.
One terrorist was killed and five others were wounded, the navy said.


========= USS Gonzalez =========

From the USS Gonzalez, a Tomahawk Land Attack Missile (TLAM) is launched on March 23, 2003,
in the Mediterranean Sea. The USS Cape St. George and USS Gonzalez
exchanged gunfire with pirates off the coast of Somalia Saturday, March 18, 2006.

With the USS Lake Erie, a Standard Missile is launched
in a Missile Defense Agency and Japan Defense Agency joint test in the Pacific in this photo released by the U.S. Defense Department, March 8, 2006.
The cooperative test demonstrated the SM-3 with a Japan-designed advanced nose-cone.


========= Taji =========

In Taji, Kurdish enthusiasm over a traditional bonfire and gathering attended by tens of thousands Kurds
to celebrate Newroz, the new year spring festival. Kurdish residents celebrate Newroz,
on March 21, marking the arrival of spring.
Newroz means 'New Year' in Persian and is celebrated in Afghanistan, Azerbaijan, Iran and Tajikistan.

In Istanbul, Turkey, demonstrators wave Kurdish flags
as they display a poster of the jailed rebel leader Abdullah Ocalan during the Nowruz celebrations.

In the Uzbek capital Tashkent, dancers wearing traditional Uzbek costume
celebrate the Persian New Year, known as Nowruz.

In Karbala, Iraq, a rocket attack 2000 meters away from Imam Hussein shrine.

In Kerbala, protest march after Friday prayer, March 24, 2006.

Too up close and personal. Mammalian albino lobster.

At the hydrothermal vent areas near the Easter microplate and Pacific-Antartic ridge,
collected by the slurp gun of the submarine Alvin, this hairy white lobster
previously living near hydrothermal vents in the deep Pacific Ocean.
The creature, a previously unidentified species of squat lobster, is so furry that it has been dubbed the 'Yeti' crab.


========= Leo Triplet - NGC 3628, M66 and M65 =========

Leo Triplet - three large spiral galaxies in one field of view
[NGC 3628 (top), M66 (bottom left), and M65 (bottom right)].
NGC 3628 is seen edge-on, with obscuring dust lanes cutting across the plane of the galaxy,
while the disks of M66 and M65 are both inclined enough to show off their spiral structure.
Gravitational interactions between galaxies in the group have also left telltale signs,
including the warped and inflated disk of NGC 3628 and the drawn out spiral arms of M66.
