Not with me.
Really? Ted the Swimmer isn't gonna live forever. No point having loathing for a guy who is dead.
I've noticed a concerted effort by the left lately to rehabilitate the Swimmer by downplaying Chapaquiddick. It's one of the sorriest spectacles I've seen, frankly - but, then again, the left has shown time and time again that it doesn't have any shame.
Good post, and for once I find myself agreeing with a Phoenix writer. I do in fact focus every last ounce of hate at the clintons. Fat Boy just isn't worth it. BFT may be an unfortunate Massachusetts tradition, but his performance during the Alito hearings is a perfect example of how this drunken, braindead, old buffoon drives voters to the Republicans by being an embarrassment to the Democrats.
I will never forget when my dad finished the last page of Teddy Bare, btw. White with rage--something I had never seen before or since--he handed me the book. Read this, he said.
I went to dinner a few weeks ago with a couple of moon-bats and they loathed Kennedy. Probably just as much as Bush.
It's just become such a given that it's not discussed any more than the fact that the sun rises in the east.
It just is.
I'm an equal opportunity hater. My loathing of Teddy has never diminished and as a matter of fact, after the Kerry nomination increased.
The Kennedy loathing extends beyond Kerry to the entire state of Massachuttes population for inflicting America with such trash.
Screed is an interesting word. For me it has all sorts of negative connotations, yet I seem to be imagining things. Consider this MW definition. The OED does use harrangue in one of its definitions, but on the whole their definition is not so negative as my impression and what I think the writer of this piece meant when he charaterized Teddy Bare as a "screed."
I have the book by me as I type. I hadn't looked at it in years, so today I just opened it at random to several places. All I saw was a recitation of facts and quotes/transcripts from other sources. I would prefer to call Teddy Bare a "history."

When the state is run by a guy whose brother is a psychopathic killer and the church is run by pedeophiles, it is not a place of much hope.
I hate the voters that keep sending The Swimmer back to Washington.
This article is pure b.s. The only dodo here is Adam Reilly.
Kennedy obviously paying someone to cobble together a legacy for him. As he begins the long death journey to beach himself, he can only hope he's not poked too much by onlookers. Along with clinton, the best he can hope to be said is "it could've been worse, I guess."
for those of you unfamiliar with the Boston "scene",The Phoenix is a left wing rag, started in the 60's as a free handout, that derives most of its revenue (and popularity) from its "alternative" personals section...
You know..."transgendered seeks black male for.."
